I never knew Family Circus came out as an animated special. Terrible animation, glad I missed it back in '79. Love your twist on it though!

Yes, there were three animated holiday specials: "A Family Circus Christmas," "A Family Circus Easter," and "A Special Valentine with the Family Circus."
They have been sentimental (and the Christmas one was definitely wacked-out: Santa brings people back from the dead!) but I did really love them in the 1980s.
