  • This Ship Has Been Underwater For 100 Years

  • i read in a book that they think the 3rd class passengers really were locked away. A survivor (one that was in the last boat pulling away from the sinking ship) once said that she remembers watching all the 3rd class passengers finally arriving on deck as the last boat rowed away. How cruel is that? 3rd class being treated no better than slaves.

  • fuck you calafornian you were so close to the titanic if you would just leave your trasmitter on then you wouldve saved all of the passengers

  • @chekyman123

    The colllison may have been avoided had the orders been clearier (Murdoch ordered hard a starbard, in Tiller Orders that ment turn left, and Hitchens paniced and briefly turned right instead of left) the Califonian might have responded had the distress rockets been red instead of white and Titanic's crew had been firing them at 1 minute intervals (The signial for distress) instead of 4-8 minute intervals (which said we've suffered enginge trouble and warned ships to stay away)

  • These souls that sailed on the Titantic along

    the sea, sank into cold waters that sweep

    them into Eternity, but no death or oceans

    roar could keep them all from heavens door.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    May they rest in Peace
  • beautifull song !!
  • What is the title of the song?
  • Whoa. The man at 1:57 looks exactly like the character "Mr. Andrews" in the 1997 movie! Played by the talented Victor Garbo. Or is it just me?
  • @81Nickelbabe  That is not "Mr. Andrews". The man in the photo is Mr Benjamin Guggenheim. He died in the sinking.
  • I'm not being mean or anything,.But all shipwrecks are sad to me but not one torches my heart like titanic It was real Tragedy.
  • 98 years now.
  • asuuuuuuuuu great video = /
    buen video y aparte de muy triste : /
  • 3:39, you can see what looks like the remains of pants, so this looks like it is the only grave marker for one of the souls lost that night
  • Joseph Laroche at 1:42 was nephew to the then President of Haiti (Cincinnatus Leconte).
  • When it comes to Titanic, people understand the story of the ship and those on board, what many don't understand is the era that created Titanic
  • @snakes3425, that ios the story that is lost in ths tragedy.
  • Beautiful tribute, and very nice choice of music.
    Small favor - Is it possible to do a 2nd one, or redo this one, and add the names of the people in the photos , if you have the info available, and their significance? Like: "2nd class passenger, Mr. ___, Liverpool, survived, or: Miss ______,steerage class, perished. These faces are haunting me now. I'd love to know more about them. Thank you for yr film.
  • Thank you Carpathia!
  • @americangirl1800
    Sadly Carpathia joined Titanic on the bottom in 1918, she was torpedoed and sunk by the U-55, whose captain was well known for being ruthless, he is known to have drowned survivors he rescued by confiscating their life jackets, shooting up their lifeboats and submerging beneath them, later the captain would go on to become a high ranking officer in the SS
  • @snakes3425 great vid
  • I think I might cry. All those people who lost their lifes. And the most butiful ship on Earth going down. Wow! It all happened!
  • There is a second element of tragedy to the story of Titanic, in that the same technology being used to create the beautiful liners of the Edwardian Period was also being used to create vast amounts of weapons and to fuel a naval arms race that would result in the outbreak of World War I two years later
  • Playwright Clyde Fitch at 2:22
  • nice
  • @ChoNadia02 Its More Of A 100 Year Memorial for the Titanic its a sing of respect to the people who died in the Titanic.
  • @HcwScreamQueen ...won't be 100 yrs until April 14th, 2012....1912 - 2012, 100 years
  • I was responding to the person who said they wish their birthday was the same day Titanic sank.
  • i gath familie that die in the machine room of the titanic
  • alguem sabe o nome dessa musica
  • kind of ironic, this saying, amatures built the ark, proffestionals built the titanic
  • Hey. if it didnt sink, it could be the next ark!
  • tho she is at the bottom of the sea, she still lives on, as long as we remember her legacy she will never truly be dead.
  • That would have been a perfect voice for Britannic. (If she got to talk)
  • this is relly sad i have this movie i watch it almost every day
  • my great great grand daddy died on titanic :.(
  • aaww that's soo sad to hear =( sorry for your loss...
  • So sorry to hear that James. My dad once met an elderly man who was on the Carpathia, the ship that received the distress signal and went to help Titanic.
  • Wow.
  • I was watching Titanic's Last Moments a History Channel Expedition and it appears that she lost 70 feet of her bottom from keel to keel and that accounts for the water that Stokers said came up from the floor and the reason she cracked between the third and fourth funnels.
  • a beautiful video. well done, my friend :')
  • Whats the song?
  • Spirit of the Sea by Blackmore's Night
  • to be honest.. the day titanic sunk is the day of my birthday.. and 15th april 2012 i'll be 27 years old..
  • whoa so you have to celebrate titanic day AND your birthday on the same day! I wish i was you. :o
  • wait, why would you wanna celebrate your birthday the same day titanic sank? that's just beyond messed up. 1,500 people died that night and you want your birthday on the same day? alrighty then.
  • @MelissaAnnLegard1989 Many people have died on the day you were born too...you just werent aware of them
  • No, really? I never knew that. o_0 *note sarcasm* Anyway, that's not my point.
  • i find it really strange that in 2012 it will be Titanic's 100th anniversery & at the same time, people are saying the world will end in 2012.. I don't belive the end of the world is in 2012 but i find it weird that titanic's 100 anniversery is that same year :S
  • hes dont survived annyway if his survived that iceberg his torpeded in wwo1
  • It has just been announced: The Last Survivor of RMS Titanic died today
  • It's amazing that she lived to 97 years because she was 3 years old during the disaster .
  • Millvina Dean was only 9 weeks old when she was a passenger on the Titanic.
  • Really ? , I didn't know that .
  • the unsinkable had sunk...so sad....May you rest in peace TITANIC... The spirit of the north sea
  • im with u guys im gonna b 14
  • dont u guys think it would be on the news april.14 2012?
  • i defenetly will join you iluvlittlebigplanet
    :) that year would be my last year of high school :)
  • nice song =) like 1998mac4ever, I'm looking forward to 2012, Im gonna be 16 so im gonna stay awake till 2.20 on the 15th of April, to mark the 100th anniversary of titanic, I would be happy if more people joined in!
  • I'm imagining that's Titanic, herself, singing that.
  • Lovely video...R.I.P. Titanic and all those lost.
  • her anniversary today. RIP
  • beautiful music, actually. i love this!
  • who asked you? I actually think it's beautiful
  • Good for you, I loathe it. Chacun a son gout.
  • Titanic was a great ship! But it's sad when you think of all the people who died. But the Titanic is going to be an orange puddle soon... But when that day does come, i'll remeber her like she never sunk and she never became a puddle...
  • All the crew of titanic and we, we will be together sooner or later.
  • in my opinion...i think they should just let the ship rest...its not a toy or an experiment for us...its a graveyard. just leave it be and the dead-inhabitants to rest! who agrees?
  • @CharmedSW
     I Agree With You!
  • @CharmedSW AMEN! The name of the man who found the Titanic escapes me at the moment, but I've read several times he later regretted finding the ship and going public with the news, for exactly the reason you wrote.
  • @musicbox63
    Robert Ballard found Titanic's wreck. However the law says Titanic's remains are in international waters and she's wasn't an active duty warship or troopship so there are no laws protecting the site from salvers. many wrecks are only granted any sort of protection if they were sunk during wartime while in military service or had active duty military personel on board at the time of the sinking
  • pure magic snakes3425
  • its so sad but in 2012 it will be titanic 100th anniversary. so sad when i learned about it when i was 8 i could not stop drawing titanic sinking and the lifeboats and people running. 5 stars *****
  • it is a downright shame that the titanic will soon just be a big orange stain on the ocean floor...R.I.P. Titanic
  • Titanic would have survived if it has top quality rivets, unfortunatley it the rivets at the bow section of where the iceberg opened the plates were only second best slag rivets, these were a weak blend of steels and sulphurs making them break under pressure, plus previously contributing the sinking was the weakened bulkhead of where a coal fire broke out a few days into the maiden voyage.
  • Very nice Video
  • if thos fck wireless operators gave the captain or 1 of the officcers the note from near bye ships the people wouldent have died
  • Titianc got 6 Ice Warnings before the collison. The 1st was given to the captain and posted at 9:00AM. The 2nd was given to Smith at 1:42PM and ignored at the instence of Ismay, and spent the rest of the day in Ismay's pocket, and shown to 1st class passengers before being posted at 7:00 PM. The 3rd was never delivered. The 4th was given directly to the officers but the captain was never informed due to him being at dinner with first class passengers. The 5th and 6th though were simply ignored
  • wow great video
  • titanic was a bit unlucky from the start. when she was leaving the port she came close to colliding with another ship. then when she sailed past the new york the ropes that were keeping the new york down broke and was meters away from hitting titanic. the people that were onboard were probably think what a relief! but sadly they probably died
  • the large ship sinking to the silent freezing sea.how sad.R.I.P for all who had gone down with the ship.May all family members of them who died remember them.
  • She has been a ghost for 96 years, a silent phantom sailing on a voyage she will never complete. He's got a point *Tear*
  • who is that little girl who is at 2.52 plz dont say she died
  • She is 1st Class Passenger Loraine Allison. Sadly she was among the 1,523 who went down with the ship.
    The story goes her mom refused to leave the ship without her baby brother, but her mom apparently didn't know that her brother and the children's nurse had already escaped in Lifeboat #11
  • yea we shuld raise titanic but i dont want to disrespectful to all those who died that night
  • um, that would be a stupid thing to do. the Titanic is too brittle to be raised. She's currently being eaten by microbes, and raising her would only speed her demise.
  • and the ship would break apart in a million pieces and what we do bring up would rot even faster from the sun after a century under water. however the ship is bound to break up in a few years. robert ballard compared titanic from 2005 from 1985. saying the bow was becoming wider, meaning she is steadily breaking up from old age as will many other famous liners that went down.
  • i cry when i think about the 1.500 that went into the sea that night RIP TITANIC
  • What a beutifull film. I cried from Ida and Isidor Strauss, and really started cry at Lorraine Allison. It all´s so tragic.
  • beautiful pictures i cry when i think about all the people that died that night
  • MOST LEGENDARY SHIP OF ALL TIME
  • this is good
  • i love titanic
  • wow, its so amazing, how boots are still laying in the sand from thos who perished abored, cant believe its been down their for almst 100years
  • the titanic and those ships will not be there for long. robert ballard made a documentary that he noticed the bow of the titanic is much wider than she was 20 years ago when he discovered her, meaning she is eventually going to break apart from rotting under there for so long.
  • i like ships
  • when u put it in the words u did at the begining is so true i never thought about it like that thanx man
  • 1:43: the picture is of 2nd Class Passenger Joesph Laroche and he was indeed black
  • sry for double post: I'm a nooooooooob
  • I think you should make a video for the Andrea Doria and the General von Steuben. Those were tragic events, I'm surprised you haven't made vids for them. Make one for Challenger and Columbia. ;-)
  • I also suggest the Hindenburg, Britannic, and the Thresher.
  • but hindenburg trans is not a shipwreck. she was an airship that either burned from lightning, or the rumours that a bomb was planted there. it is incredible how hindeburg burned in less than 48 seconds yet only 36 of 82 on board died.
  • 1. I know she was an airship.
    2. I think it was the sun beaming on deflating hydrogen, like a leaf burns if you focus a magnifying lens on it.
  • hindenburg did not burn in broad sunlight so a magnifying lens would never of been the factor. it was probably compressed gas that erupted inside of her.
  • I think you should make a video for the Andrea Doria and the General von Steuben. Those were tragic events, I'm surprised you haven't made vids for them. Make one for Challenger and Columbia. ;-)
  • This is a really beautiful video!
  • Great video man nice music.
  • nice job u rock!!!!!!!!!!!! hope u make more
  • nice video love it 5 stars. it would be cool if they raised her and bring her to New york for her first atlantic crosssing, but every day this would get harder and harder
  • nice but no new suprises
