here is a tip for keeping your batteries alive and healthy for as long as possible,,never leave a charged battery sit for days,,,i drain my batteries power totally down withing a day of using my camera,,usually the same day i drain my batts...ive had my video cam with the same battery that came with it for about 2 years and it still holds a charge and works like new,,,also dont ever drop batteries..its smart to change batts or install them over ur bed so if they fall its no big deal
