I don't know about scorpion horse but the shiver series was absolutely amazing come from a young adults point of view there's something for everyone love, fantasy and pretty good battle scenes
And again for me anna wasn't my favorite and agree with you about john steinbeck love grapes of wrath. I have on my channel done a little masterpiece theatre type review of Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, The Pearl, and The Acts of King Arthur and his noble knights
Some great books glad your back. Seems like a lot of people now a days are taking different views on demon hunting genre. I did by the way get a nook tablet hd for christmas already have it and like it. I know you know i was leary on getting one.
Some of those recommendations have piqued my interest. I just purged my bookshelves about a week ago. I finally decided to let go of some I have had for years but never get the time to read anymore. Grapes of Wrath is a great novel. If you haven't seen the movie I would recommend it. I'm sure you've probably read The Pillars of the Earth? :) It's a personal favorite of mine. Looking forward to your next update......
You should REALLY do voice work, Jaime. You have a great speaking voice.
Books and I have always had a weird relationship. I will usually only read a novel after I have seen the film. Something about adaptations and the screenplay vs the novel that fascinate me.
I think my favorite book, thus far in life, is "The Exorcist". I have read that novel countless times. I truly hope for a remake of the film. Aside from Kitty Winn, the film's casting leaves me off. The book is better.
Hope you dont mind suggestions but I highly suggest Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs it is fantastic he is a fellow Youtuber also you can probably find some vids by searching his name.
another good book for you, Between A Rock and A Hard Place a.k.a. 127 Hours. its a brilliant book about a bloke who gets his arm caught under a boulder. the film 127 Hours, is good aswel
Some great book there, I need to check out Off Season, sounds awesome... Don't know if you've read it but Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame- Smith, an amazing read, something to check out for sure...
OFFSEASON! Best book ever. I mean it has the recipe to long pig in it. Hahaha. What other books did you read and/or enjoy by Ketchum? Whats your favorite Stephen King book? And Angela's Ashes looks like such a good read. I'm hoping I can hunt down a copy at a local thrift book store.
@TankGirlBOOM I really enjoyed Right To Life by Ketchum. The Girl Next Door is also good. I ordered Red but it hasn't arrived yet. Stephen King...that's tough. I really enjoyed Eyes of the Dragon. Not his usual fare but good. I hope you enjoy Angela's Ashes!
wow u talked to fast for me near the start haha also awesome shirt btw haha also great list of books but have u read stephens kindgs christeane the book is way better than the film
77% of people that I know don't read books anymore, Last year in high school I read 2 times more books then I dated people. I actually wrote 8 books on my computer using Word 2003. its nice to see some people are still into literature, & I will definitely check all of these out, thanks :)
I've always thought that reading a really great horror book is WAY creepier than watching a movie, cause your imagination runs wild as you’re visualizing the world and freaks you out in a way that sticks with you.. so I will give these books you mentioned a read
Finding this on my sub page was an unexpected treat. Please try to do more book videos... The Hunger Games is intriguing as well as Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter and any book by Ketchum. I need to MAKE time to read! I can come back to this video (and hopefully more) for great suggestions. Thank you so much... !!!
I have to write all of these down. With Whitney being such a fan of horror books and other books in general, I need to add these to the Christmas list.
Thank you!!! I'll be makin a trip to the library very soon :)
