What the heck is sad about that? Horses like to work and they are treated very well for their service. These are not mistreated animals! Trees re-grow and are a renewable resource. The song is cheerful and a memory of different times in this country.

That nerve racking Belgium of mine always wants to take one more step backwards when you are hooking him to a log. My old Ford truck stays put when I put it in park. However there is nothing as peaceful as pulling logs with a horse. Great video.
yes, Tonio has given over his life to these horses, there is a lot of respect between him and his team. Not involved myself, but I like to see this kind of relationship to work and nature.
