@EndOfWill This song and is in F as well as everything I play on this guitar and I love it! Recently just tried out Ernie Balls 8 string set and I actually quite like the gauging and how convenient it is to have a 8 string pack
meshuggah is a gay influence also, they play the 8 string in a gayway. what we need is proper metal. CHUGGING installments, fuck this djentcrappybullcrap CHUG OR DIE
nice guitar but your playing is shitty and id much rather i have your rg2228 than you play it so hand it over cus u suck and i wanna show u about using the "LOWER" strings, djent is worst metalcrap ever wow id rather listen to Cee Lo Green thats how bad this shit is. write down somethiing better k and i hate djent and i dont like your video, you suck.
@SwirlyBrokenHearts You'd rather listen to "Cee Lo Green" than Djent? ... You never deserve to own an 8 string, and you have absolutely no taste. Go suck a fat one ;)
@SwirlyBrokenHearts TTD is good yes, but djent is interesting, new, and inovative. Its not crap. Do you not like after the burial or meshuggah? All metal is good metal (cept maybe nu-metal), and Djent is no exception.
@iiDaBoss okay maybe i take it back, there are a few "djent" bands that i reaally enjoy like Born Of Osiris yes, After The Burial like you siad, Veil Of Maya, The Contortionist, Tosin abasi (suprisingly) Divine Heresy and some others i cant think of right now, i think meshuggah is luke-warm not a massive fan, stuff that is either boring or annoying to me - periphery, Vildjharta, tesseract, maybe Volumes i am aactually a huge fan of nu metal since 13yrsold but i agree theres not much metal i hate
@iiDaBoss not much metal in this world that is bad, i like everything from screamo to folk metal, just some djent like this is lame becuase all these players hit one string in a "drone" type of fashion, i find it retarded, im just not keen at all on anything progressive like dream theater where they change the time signatures every 2 minutes, lol fuck that ;o
@RossWildish Currently rerecording this album now, been busy with my other projects and touring but now finally gettin er done! should be out early 2011 but ill post something soon!
I say this at the risk of sounding like an asshole, but there's already a Meshuggah. Try coming up with your own style in that math vein, something nobody's done yet.
There's already a Meshuggah, yeah. Operative letter in that sentence being "a". No other band I've ever heard of releases stuff that sounds the same... Yet there's 50 million cookie-cutter metal bands out there... There needs to be more stuff like this. 'Shuggah started something fantastic.
I come up with all the basic grooves and stuff really and put my drummer in front of the computer for a few hours and he does his magic to be as close as possible to what he'd play
btw, I sat down and listened to the tracks you have on myspace, and it's really really cool stuff (more tracks plz!), and then I thought: This band don't need a singer!
Your tracks functions so well as instrumental tracks, and I would love to see some more instrumentals like the ones you've already made!
chunky as! i love it! I need to start putting some tracks up with drums.. what do you use for your drum tracks? Oh.. and have you heard of the musician 'Bulb' ? Keep rockin dude!
@cmakproductions Ended up selling it to the guitarist from The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. I regret it. But the 6 string bass makes me happy so I guess I'll have to wait and get another RG2228 some year.
@CivicLSI I actually think that Curtis and the guys of Alpha Trion are far superior to Meshuggah when it comes to songwriting. I guess Meshuggah are to much about technique and time signatures for me. Alpha Trion has the groves, melodies and 8string pounding I like! :)
I'm looking at the rg2228, but I want to be able to tune to F instead of F# without it being too lose. Have you done that on this guitar?

How do you make your drums? Do you use a midiboard ?
alk4h0l1k 3 years ago
Well i use BFD Andy John for the drum VST and it is triggered by the drum editor in cubase. Then we just click in hit for hit with the mouse haha

Omg, you serious? Then how do you put together such complex drums?
