3.6 dont work well on older systems @ all. and a bit shakey on pentium 4 based systems. which chrome works great on. but i havent lost faith wit mozilla. opera 11 got extensions now in the making but still dont work to well as yet but has great load time but still crashes on some website wit flash like fb games or other flash based web games. so anyone know wat browser would work for a p3 system now and days. until i can get my family an upgrade? lol

i have here version 3.6.12 under linux ubuntu 10.04 and firefox freezes every 20 seconds with a full hog of cpu on 100%, i cannot scroll or type without a 2-5 seconds lag.

firefox has gradually gotten worse and now its completely unusable.

the best thing of all is: when you try to get help on mozilla pages, they blame it at first on the plugins, you just have to remove them.... then they go on to say your machine is fucked up and at least they say you are simply an idiot...

Seems these days no matter what browser you use. Websites are loading so much tracking, click ads, and other crap, you can barely get most of them opened first try. Firefox is fast and stable. But there is this one little issue - the warning when closing multiple tabs appears and disappears. I still don't understand how this warning works. Does it work when private browsing is on? Does it work only when there is a downloading window or extra window? And what is the difference between "warn me on closing multiple tabs" and "save tabs when quit"?

I would be grateful if somebody could explain this to me.

I installed it with Ubuntuzilla to Linux Ubuntu and tested it. It was little bit more than 10% faster than 3.5.7. Not much but at least better results in benchmark. I dunno the results with Windows, coz i don't use MS products.
