  • "I can't even look at the front of one of these cars because I get sexually excited." - Jeremy Clarkson :D

  • @ukeright at the alfa romeo challenge:P

  • I love alfa's - had one my self. But why is Clarkson (and everybody on the comment page) ignoring the obvious understeer in the video? :-)

  • @racegenious mate, that's why I got myself a bimmer...

  • @mellilore ha ha ha actually I've got a BMW myself at the moment ;-)

  • GTV 3.2 :DD

  • BMW IS THE BEST !! ALFA NOWADAYS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OLD ORIGINAL ALFA,BEFORE FIAT TIME !! NOW THEY HAVE NO QUALITY AND THE WORST THING FOR US THE ALFISTI IS THE FORWARD DRIVE !! FORWRD DRIVE IN AN ALFA ????????? EE??? BETTER BUY A BMW Z4 BACK WHEEL DRIVE !

  • I had alfa gtv and now changed it to mazda rx - 8

  • @0o0Ultoris

witch is better because ironcly im having a tuf time on chooseing between both cars

  • @jibster94

lol are you f* kidding me :D? Rx-8 is great car, 10 times better than that(IMO).

  • @0o0Ultoris

in what ways though because looking at this car i just cringe with joy the rx 8 looks sporty but common

what ways is the rx 8 better :)?

  • @jibster94 rx-8 is easy to handle and in real looks much better than alfa, it is more powerful and well equipped. There is much more space in mazda, backseats are awesome, in alfa beackseats are more like a trunk than place for ppl. Trunk in mazda is bigger. And most important thing for me is that Rx-8 is rear wheel drive car and it is faaaaster :P.

  • @0o0Ultoris

DDeeaam sun :L:L nah sounds really good so :) i think you have changed my mind haha my 12 grand is going on one of them neway :)

  • its ugly, looks like a womans car

  • The GTV is a 15 year old design and still fresh today, it's a timeless work of art. The GTV is much more stylish than it's replacement the Brera, the Brera is pretty

but the GTV from every angle is a design masterpiece, the kamm tail, the rising

crease the clam bonnet, the wedge silouette, Pininfarina have created a modern

    classic..Forza Alfa Romeo

  • @alfistii1

yeah, shame you aint got 1.

  • I luckly have one of the really few v6 3.2 coupè....absolutely fantastic car!!

  • I am lucky enough to own one, before they are all snapped up by collectors.

Its always a thrill just to look back at it, its a sculpture a work of art, and best of all it's Italian.

  • When it comes to style, the italians always get it right

  • @PhedraBcn ; totally agree, the gtv was a pininfarina design, V6 Busso engine a work of art.

Alfa's are avoided by motorists which means they are an exclusive and affordable

    enthusiasts car, Forza Italia

  • tried in on my playstation - and yes he's safe

  • has no Yaw control, no turbo and front wheel drive only, but it does have the sort looks that make a men want to wet his pants.

    he's absolutely right.

  • just bought one...

it was a real thrill for me to start this v6 engine the first time! and it`s still thrilling...

the gtv v6 is my dream-car since 15 years and always when i went tho my garage i´m so excited to see this body...sexy!!!

  • just bought one...

it was a real thrill for me to start the engine for the first time!

my dream-car since 15 years and every time when i went to my garage i`m excited to see this body...sexy

  • had this car 2 years ago.

    brilliant drive!

  • non c'ho capito molto, ma grande alfaaaa. io ne ho una rossa :)

  • all that bullshit talk about understeer with frontweel cars, rearwheel cars have oversteer.. So dont blame the car, but blame yourself.. I love the Alfa gtv!

  • thats what im saying! either way you hurt your time! and who can afford 25 sets of burned up rear tires? talk about fun...

  • Great Alfa GTV 3.0 V6. It is my car!

Grande Alfa GTV 3.0 V6. E' la mia macchina!

No problems in 126.000 km. Super engine V6 220 cv.

Nessun problema in 126.000 km. Super motore V6 220 cv.

  • Van welk seizoen is dit ?

  • this car dont have a 3.2 v6 engine it is just die 3.0 with 220 hp

  • yes it have....

  • car needs rwd

  • well its front wheel drive so it under steers naturally, 3.2 l v6 and a very responsive throttle...i love the car

  • Strange, I remember this car oversteering terrifyingly (fun) in Enthusia. I guess racing sims can miss the big stuff too.

  • In my opinion this is the most beautiful car ever made... despite it's faults... i stare out of the window every morning at mine... before i drive it to work...

  • I do the same thing! It's just a great car..

  • It's addictive!, an ALFA disease!! haha!!. There'll be quite a few crackin Alfas next Monday at The Trafford Centre Manchester..monthly AO meet!.. ;-) BARONI

  • My 916 that puts that silly lookin joyful grin on my face every morning at 6am, while driving to work.

That slightly claustrophobic feeling inside, low seats, massive doors, not able to see shit driving in reverse...:))) i love it all!!!!

After GTV, driving a 156 feels like driving a bus.

  • ive had one of these for 3 years now and i still love it to bits, everytime i look at it i think wow. It does understeer a bit but who cares

  • It's so beautiful and the engines are also great. But from what I understand from this clip is that the handling isn't that good.

  • hmm, doesnt he say that he tries to crash it, but cant?

  • He's saying he has trouble getting it around a corner. You can see in the film that it really understeers, so you won't lose control over it very easily.

  • I love this car

  • it makes no sense, but I may get one of these...

  • Fucking right we get it right

  • alfa is the best car

  • beautiful car, great engine, but why on earth is it front wheel drive, that's the only reason I will never consider buying it. It's like scoring with a supermodel with two left feet. Just not right. And therefor a bit of a hair dresser-douche bag car. No sorries.

  • 97 spider owner..... nuff said

  • UK's autodelta drilled gtv's 3.2 litre engine to 3.7 wich goes 0-100km in 4.5s.

  • beautifull car!!!

but it is NOT a gtv 6..

    it's a gtv 916!!!

  • there are gtv and gtv6

  • yes, but this model of gtv (and spider) are also known as 916

  • GTV is still one of the best looking cars on the road and, after over 10 years, mine drives perfectly with 60000 miles. They are a bargain to buy now. Well, worth getting.

  • "The Italians always get it right"

What do I need to say more :)

    Love my 155

  • yeah, we always get it right! I love my gtv!

  • Where I can find the complete video?

GTV is compared with BMW Z3?

  • streetfire . net, i think, if i'm right you should search for like Unleashed on cars on something, maybe head to head or something, try it... :)

  • Love my GTV. True, it understeers like a bitch, but even though its 11 years old it looks better than Alexa Chung in a nurses uniform. ;)

  • howerya, im thinking about gettin an alfa GTV i pretty much have one if i want it, its in grand shape but i hear that the engines give awful trouble, oil leaks an the such, is dat true or wat??

  • ahahah "the italian alwats get it right"...quite a right statement...lets go guys...greeting from bologna

  • My father recently bought one of this, '98 model, 3.0 V6. Does any one know the exact date of these TG Show, I would like to see it ful screen.

  • it's not a part of TG, it's a Clarkson special about the 100 best cars ever made

  • Thanks!!!

  • "Little Ferrari"????? What!? Ferrari is the direct son of Alfa... Enzo started with Alfa, and the first Scuderia Ferrari cars where Alfas!!

  • My wife thinks the Alfa GTV is the most beautiful car ever made. And for once I agree with her.

  • i agree too lol i'm getting one in august the v6 turbo model

  • not a turbo

  • there also is a 2.0 v6 turbo model.

    This is the 3.0 v6 24v.

  • @AlfaromGTV i think its the big time to change your wife !!

  • @AlfaromGTV, your wife is a good woman ;)

  • @AlfaromGTV Your wife is totally blinded by love so she just wanna agree with u silly man :D

I bet u r wife likes more thouse cars that u can't afford. This is a reality check and u should be more realistic because if u and u r wife are happy with 5 grand alfa thats ok but don't live in u r fantasyland because there is way more beautiful cars than gtv here are few examples that u cant afford: Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8, Aston Martin DB9, Bugatti Veyron, Alfa Romeo 8c and lots of more :D

  • @s1rpala1nen Since when are the Veyron and R8 pretty cars? I don't think the GTV is Alfa's prettiest car, but it's a ton prettier than those two. And maybe even the Gallardo. Not the DB9 though.

As for the 8C, the first time I saw it, I loved it. As time went by, and Alfa created more cars with design clues based on the 8C (Mito, Giulietta), it just became vulgar and old.

  • @RarivMorben GTV is shitbox compare to any supercar.

  • @s1rpala1nen And can you afford a supercar? Since you are posting replies on a GTV video on youtube, I'm guessing not. So step down from that dream world and look at cars that you can actually afford.

  • @RarivMorben No i cant afford supercar :( and thats why i have same price range sport car as gtv. But i dont talk this bullshit and try to lie myself that my car looks better than Veyron, R8 and Gallardo.

  • @s1rpala1nen Even an MGB or a Frogeye Sprite look better than a Veyron or a R8. Just because it costs a fortune, it doesn't make it beautiful, and those two are quite ugly.

Sure, there are very pretty supercars like the DB9 or the GT40, but that that's not always the case. Some of the prettiest cars ever made are mass production cars, like the Lotus Elan, Lancia Fulvia, Volvo 1800, Corvette C1 and C2, Austin-Healey Sprite, Fiat Barchetta, Mustang, and the list goes on and on.

  • @s1rpala1nen The Veyron is not boring? You enter a corner with an Alfa and you need to work very hard to make the corner fast. You do it in a Veyron, and the car does all the hard work for you. Saying an FF car is boring only means 1 of 2 things... Either you've never driven a good FF, or you don't know the first thing about cars, and how to drive an FF car really fast. Remember that some of the most successful cars in motor sport are FF.

  • @RarivMorben FF sucks without lsd because it just understeersin corners . I have s13 200sx with stock lsd and it corners supurb. Last week my friend let me try hes 2008 Mazda 3 MPS "Mazdaspeed 3" in track and it was really good at track because all the god parts and it has stock front lsd. My personal criterios when choose a car are based more on technical performance than looks. Dont underestimate technical performance that Veyron, R8 and Gallardo has. Those are hardcore machines copare to gtv.

  • this is my mates car!!!!!!

  • jaja... "Italians allways get it right" Ture!

  • (...) criticises the enormous understeer of the car, but at the same time he drives in a way he is provocking even much more understeer, as whe keeps accelerating during all the bend! It´s no fair at all!! Shit, if you enter the bend fastly and you balance the car while releasing a bit the throttle, the Alfa will start a nice and controleable oversteer..

It´s definetely a very nice car and quite sporty when driven well.

  • Well, A little Ferrari.. maybe in terms of sublime design and lovely engine, both aspects make this car special.. But in terms of handling, it´s just a front wheeled car and it is true it´s not the same thing as a rear wheeled car, much more fun. But this Alfa is still a very fun front wheeled car, one of the best, and Jeremy Clarckson (...)

  • Where did Enzo Ferrari start his career? A.L.F.A :) and it shows.

  • called as CUT PRICE FERRARI...

  • i love this car.timeless design..

  • Nice....! :)

  • Thats why i drive this car ;)

  • I love this car

  • great car, like a little ferrari
