  • @TheGuitar1952 I'm not really sure. A lot of these mowers are built differently. Maybe it just has to be wiggled around or knocked loose with a hammer, it may be stuck. Sorry, wish I could help.

  • We did it!!!! Thanks again for the video. We did it on a very old craftsman. model #: 502.254970. didn't have to detach the spring. removed some bolts and pins under the battery to get the belt around the big pully in the back. It took two of us though. One getting the tools and holding the light and the other doing the work. We did it!!

  • @cdapplegate1 Congrats! Glad you were able to do it without messing around with that blasted spring.

  • Thank you for the video. I thought it was impossible but I guess at least you can do it. We are still struggling with ours. Thanks again.

  • lol, best thing about this video is the woman who appreciates your hard work so much! I know the feeling. Wish my dad could still fix things. This time it's up to me. Thank you for the video. :)

  • nice video, thought I was the only one with one of these. I'll muscle it over the last pulley after work. Thanks!

  • did you have to take the pulley (the stationary one by the tensioner pulley) in the middle off? not much clearance to get the belt threaded.

  • @lketchersid From what I remember, I didn't take it off. I kinda just had to thread it through and muscle it over that fan pulley.

  • could you get a belt at home depot for an old rally ya think?
