Yo chief, diggn your tutorials! A beat that has been baffling me for years is BMW's Crazy Baldheads (studio track) esp. the hi-hat pattern. Can u shed some light?

Been watching listenin to this bro, u in Canada? Well, I'm in Upper State NY, it's like few hours away hope u come to the United States anytime soon....
i was actually just looking for an instructional video on how to play exactly this beat. i heard it in Dem Gone - Gentleman. thanks a lot man. is your kit tuned for when you play reggae? how did you tune it?
Thats really tastey man I like it and I'll surely be-a-stealin' it!
But I do have to say - if no one has pointed out already - its based on a group of three, which is toootally different to a triplet. Gonna get some confused kids out there with mixing up terminology like that!
Anyways, lookin forward to seein what else ya got!
that's a shame I think you would make a very good teacher. Is there somewhere I can find more of your stuff? And do you have an advice for me? Im now learning to play reggae music but I'm getting a hard time keeping the hi hat going and doing different things with my left hand as reggae calls for. can you recommend some exercise

@TheBreakMonster how do you not know about Gil Sharone's DVD "WICKED BEATS" on Hudson Music? He breaks this groove down and a ton of others! You should be mentioning that a long with this clip. That teaches everything from Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae!
