All the people on here Talking Shit about the Chevelle either don't drag race or know anything about cars. This Chevelle is a 13-12 second car ment to race in a Super Stock index class. A Chevelle with a 454, a 496 or a even a 396 could be bulit as a 9 second car for only $5000(only $3500 for the 496), there are pro street chevelles running in the 6s on PUMP GAS something the supra could never do. The Supra is a good car, most aren't ment for drag racing.
All in all we know Supras are kinda slow off the line. If this was on the freeway and the two where just cruising at 60 this Supra would of beat that thing by a 1/4 mile on the freeway before it topped out.

Most reputable companies guarantee them for 4-5 years.

And its because of a fuel buildup, the wastegate always helps in that area, if your car and turbo are tuned correctly they will last quite a long time as long as you dont have some chinese knockoff and actually have a BRAND name turbo. Most reputable companies guarantee them for 4-5 years.

My 96' Supra with a 3.4L Stroker pushing 1251whp uses a GT47R 88mm single. Most MKIV driver's under 1k hp run a GT42R (at most), a T88 would never spool right with a 3.0L 2JZ-GTE, or a 7M.

@Pigioto1 Oh I know my Turbo's are bigger than a T88 I am just saying it would take more than that car had in it to full spool (and not lag to hell) a T88. And the whole point of running a Turbo is finding out you can run max boost if not close to it, 10 PSI (1 bar of boost) wouldn't cut it. hehehe, yah I am getting some dyno vid's soon, my red one is getting some shit done to it atm. Just saying it'd take a lot more than that MKIII had to spool a T88 correctly.
