You really did a good job with this, it sure would have been something to see the crew intermingle with each other. But without the footage there is no way to do edit such a shot.

Nice videos! The CG work was great! The vipers and raiders duking it out around Galactica and the Basestar really adds some depth to the battle scenes.
I glad you like it. Thanks so much. Yes, the Adama speech is the one part that is a really jarring transition. Since the original Galactica went only one season there is not alot to choose from. And unfotunately there really were not many places where they described what they were and where they were going. Some other characters had some lines to use through the series, but hard to fit in there. Will have to search the memory and DVDs again to see what I can find.
wow! i am impressed. never would've thought to mix the two, but it works surprisingly well. loved the battlestar 'sailing' over the moonbase and the alphan eagle landing on the galactica's landing bay. adam's speech without a so much as an introduction was a bit forced, is there not a 'this is the galactica' v.o. anywhere? still, bravo!
Unfortunately in the rendering of the low resolution version for youtube the field settings seem to give some odd flash frames in the video that are not in the full resolution version. Please excuse them as I of course do not want them there and they should not be there. For example the eagle viewport flashes on a frame after the cut. These of course bug the heck out of me as the editor. I beg your understanding!

A lovely thought, but basically a pastiche without dialogue editing to save it from being what it is - 2 episodes intercut.
