They failed to grab their share of the amateur market and kept going with film. They knew film was the superior medium but the amateurs don't care for high quality pictures they care for lots of pictures that don't cost much. Film is for the artistic photographers now but they are far outnumbered by those don't know the difference. I really hope they stay on and keep selling their wonderful film because otherwise top end photography will die unless you have 40 000$ + to buy a digital equivalent.

Once a great company now being run into the ground by Carpetbagger Management. Fisher came in and said how I can drive large bonus for myself. I know lets fire every senior employee making decent money. This resulted in a large sort term profit- he made millions and left. Kodak needs young inventors who are honest and hard working. Kodak can be great again but they will need dynamic management to get there.
