GREAT VIDEO / AMAZING COUNSEL Neal A. Maxwell said: —whether as promoters, enablers, facilitators, or profiteers—will also then face and then feel all the misery they have caused countless others!
If you locked a drug addict in a room, eventually, the drug would be out of their system and they would be 'free' of the physical addiction. A porn addict in the other hand will play those images in their mind again, again and again!...When drug use ceases, the body rids itself of the harmful chemicals, but people cannot erase pornographic images from their brain. Abstinence from pornography will result in images becoming less available for retrieval, but the images remain stored in the brain.
Thank you for uploading this video. I'm glad to hear anyone speak out against this dehumanizing filth, even if they represent a heretical denomination. What is true is true. Pornography is becoming mainstream. I'm old enough to remember when viewing pornography was considered shameful, but it is now common for people to openly admit that they look at pornography. The proliferation of this material will destroy the relations between the sexes and lead more people on a path to hell.
Only those that are inslaved to porn would ever say it is not bad, that it does not ruin family, and that it does not ruin a person's life. Those that are sane and logical would agree porn is a very great evil.
Gardner believes the problem is declining because church members are getting help. The church's new website is aimed at combating pornography, offers guidance to families, spiritual inspiration and counseling programs. The church hosts more than 250 12-step meetings each week, focused exclusively on pornography. . .
@andrjsh Porn isn't new, it's has been around as long if not longer than cigarettes have. And are in no way comparable to the death and endless pain of illness that cigarette smoking can cause. Pick a different analogy.
@tcidda24 Thank you for your reply. I stand by my original statement in that the availability of porn has allowed it to permeate throughout culture and become commonplace. Between the early 17th century and the early 20th Westerners smoked, but much less that in the 20th. It was the ease of buying cigarettes that allowed compulsive smoking and its physical repercussions. I feel that the damage from porn will be psychosocial and spiritual.
About 1,000 Utahns were told to join the "war on pornography" Saturday at a conference aimed at teaching them how to protect themselves and their children against it or how to get help if they are addicted.
"Internet pornography is the sexual revolution times 1,000," said Patrick Trueman, former chief of the U.S. Department of Justice's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section Criminal Division under President Reagan and President George H.W. Bush.
@dresinss You are either sorely misinformed or purely in denial. I am especially alarmed that you would use "bigotry" to describe this video's message. Your views are truly distorted.

@scottvska Well said. Very scary how acceptable it is. Many consume it like a drug and are similarly debilitated and hampered by its effects.

Hogwash. None of this is based on actual science or "socio-cultural trends." It's based on a preconception. And it's bigotry.

Pornography is like cockroaches, gross and disgusting but people still have it in their homes.

@omiolo2
It's worse than a drug, alcohol or smoking.
Once a smoker quits, a drinker dries up and a druggie comes clean, the drugs leave their system. With pornography... the IMAGES never EVER leave!
