They realise they're soul mates, and run away together after Clarence kills her pimp, only to be chased down by the American Mafia. That's why the movie is called True Romance. This re-enacted scene is just a part of the film, in which Clarence is revealed to be schizophrenic. The dude behind him is supposed to be Elvis

I'm an actor, and pretty critical of most of this stuff, but you were good. this is one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite scenes within it, so I expected to roll my eyes at some amatuer BS. Nice work.
