I wouldnt be surprised if its focused on gunfights, the year 40000?, melee wont be much use in a online game against technology so great.

Majority of the 40k is shooting, Necrons, tau, Imperial Guard etc, Black Templars are just as adept at ranged as any other chapter but PREFER melee, just because of a few exceptions in a world filled with snipers, ships capable of destroying planets as such, the only race not adept at ranged is Orks, and maybe some Agents of the Imperium, and if Orks are a playable race, then their classes will be designed for melee, others will not, apart from exceptions, like assault marines, raptors, etc

orks have amazing fire power rivaling the imperial guard and tau. It's just inaccurate

Thats why it would be stupid to make a ranged Ork class, unless its a Loota, in which the onyl strength at range they have, is the sheer shots they can pump out.

Having good ranged firpower, good, but being so fucking inaccurate youll probably shoot your on leader in the head rather than the enemy, is fucking dumb, Orks are probably the only race made for one facet of combat, close quarters.

also against necrons, tyranids, and imperial guard accuracy is not needed, just fire straight into a mob

well think a full squad of orks with shootas odds are you get in at least 20 st 4 shots not really something to sneeze at dont need to be accurate with that many rounds plus an assualt right after

as i support the imperium thats not entirley true gargants and such are built because of the orks phsycic field and the more orks that believe in something ill make it happen. Now think a good ork waaagh with a few million will build gargants stompas ect. Now imagine if every ork united and there phsycic field was all focused on a similar thought. Imagine what they would build.

Thats what they say about Tyranids, it will be possible for either race in the lore, but not teh tabeltop, and Gamesworkshop isnt going to just destroy every other race because of this possible united ork kingdom, Orks, will never fully unite, they wont every get rid of their need to fight, and so will never stop fighting each other.

No race will be wiped out unless they suddenly become unpopular and no one buys em anymore, it is a business afterall. If a race is realy popular and suddenly, they wipe it out in some crusade, they;d lose money! Just saying lorewise its possible.

Yeah, there was some sort of 40k dwarf race called squats i think, and they are gone, got taken out in the 1990s, if any race gets taken out, itll probably be Dark Eldar in my eyes, they seem least played.

also they are far from weak their most basic rifle has 3+ ap but their toughness and strength is low but their built for fast attack so that should be expected.
