We didn't get to buy and hear this till the 25th Anniversary 3-record set in April 1986, even though the song is from 1964. It's madness that stuff this good was kept from us so long, and many a Supremes album -A Go-Go and Sing HDH come to mind- were instead larded with covers of Four Tops, Temptations and Vandellas hits when jewels like this one, "Penny Pincher," "Surfer Boy," "Send Me No Flowers," and especially "It's All Your Fault" might have offered instead.

I like the "sweetness" of this song. It has touches of doo-wap with the "dum de dum de diddly ay." Their vocals are a bit higher than their other songs. It's a very 60s" song and has the typical "girl group" sound of that era, but it's very catchy and infectious. I wonder if my mom remembers this song. I also wonder if this song got any airplay when it was new.

Florence starts the song and yes at the end too; they were the Primettes when this song was written but it was not recorded until 1964.
