  • very nice set up. im just wondering where and how much was that table/stand with the built in stands? and you should think about selling those lights and upgrading to led lighting. way better and no duty cycle and you can leave them on all night with no heat. but overall. very impressive set up.

  • nice setup dude what kind of subs are those do they pound? how many watts r them rms and peak please respond thankyou

  • WOW... Really cool setup dude, are those speakers Jbl EON's or???

Anyway really cool vid and setup!

  • gooood...... my dj is 6 15inch jbl's 2 18 inch cerving vega earthquakes (which i think subs perform way better in a closed box rather than open). 3 crown amps numark mixer and cd player plus laptop. it sounds great! if u guys are thinking on buying a dj. gor for jbl n cerving vega! and crowns for amps!! numark the best

  • Earthquakes are outdated subs because they don't go as low as modern subs & have a pretty narrow range. Crown is sort of outdated also. QSC is more popular now because all of their amps are reliable where as modern Crown amps are hit & miss. Some are good amps & some are cheap unreliable amps with a Crown logo slapped on it. Crown still makes some really good amps, you just need to do some research before you buy to know whether the model is a good Crown amp or a junk Crown amp.

  • If you have subs your tops should have 8", 10" or 12" speakers instead of 15" speakers. 15" speakers don't reproduce mids as well & since all of the bass is going to your subs you don't need a 15" in your tops. It's adding weight & lowering your sound quality to use 15" tops instead of 12", 10" or 8" tops.

  • goooodd !

  • are those 18" EV Eliminator subs? How do they perform?

  • VERY nice set up!

Although it looks nice having the tops over each sub, it's usually best to place subs as close together as possible to prevent cancellation. Full cancellation occurs when the distance to a boundary is 1/4 wavelength, or when the distance to another source is 1/2 wavelength. A wavelength is the speed of sound (1130 feet per second) divided by frequency.

That's why you see so many set ups with the two subs in the middle & the tops on tripods.

  • ummmm, wtf are you on about!? within a wavelength the wavelengths will couple, increasing efficiency of the cabinets response, and also smooths the response curve. cancelation would only occur if one is out of phase to the other which would be amatureish to say the least.

to dj dude - nice setup ... only thing i think is the stobes are overused, should save em for a big blast when they are needed, makes the effect far greater!

  • Subs work best when they're placed either close together for mutual coupling or spread very wide to cover large areas. The basic rule is to have them either less than a quarter-wavelength apart or more than two wavelengths apart for their pass band, which for 40 to 100 Hz means less than 2.8 feet or more than 56 feet.

Boundary loading should be used whenever it's practical to do so. Having subs next to a wall gets you 6dB of additional sensitivity, and putting them in a corner an extra 12dB.

  • wow its just you setting it all up shit it must be a bitch to put all away when ur tried

  • Whats up Bro, Your set up is sic! Hey if you dont mind me asking what light set up was that, I know its 2 rollers and 2 Spots but what Model? Thanks man

  • CHAUVET 250

    DJ Insane/Chi-Town.

  • pretty nice but lol how much do it cost for the light

  • mucho cash

  • IT is all sweet!

  • interesting how you set up your truss system. do you put anything in between the two I-beam sections for extra support?

  • and how are you running your intelligent lgihts?? DMX or pre-programmed show?

  • DMX

  • would u reccomend DMX for a starting mobile dj?

  • are those speakers powered or hooked to amp?

  • powered

  • Great show man.

Could you please tell me the dimensions and and weight capacity of the light stand.

I have just purchased the same lights and they weigh a ton. Help..

  • if i recall right the light stand is 10ft wide and you can make it 5ft if wanted. and it goes up to 10ft high. max weight of i think 250 lbs

  • Just wonder what type of lights those are. They kick ass. I got some Chauvet's and Martin's but your stuff is awesome.....

  • all my lights are Chauvet also

  • how much did u pay for the stand n coffinn?? i didnt no wether to get a stand n seperate cases or a stand n coffin watever is cheaper also u recomen trussing or a stand with lighting bar for like house partys??

  • stand was about 150 and coffin 90. i recommend trussing.

  • where did you get that deckstand and the flightcase from?? i need a case for 2 technics mk5 and a behringer djx700 but need to be able to hook laptop up to it

  • At any DJ store. Its actually a cheap case. GO online, they are everywhere

  • WAW , wishd I had 1/3 th of your gear man , lol

  • Nice job mate,

What is the model and the brand of

    your subs and your speakers?

  • speakers are JBL EON15G2 (15's), and subs are JBL PRX518S (18's)

  • Your style of dress is silly but I like your set up and your taste in music. Whats the track you played after Wink "Higher state..."?

  • Hey Mate,Dean from Australia!.Can i be blunt and ask how you managed to afford your rig ?I mean, stashing the LCD monitor onthe trusse's.Are they cheapy LCD?,i didn't see you set em up in the video,if so where is the PC thats that driving them.Big respects however, its clear you understand the need for quality gear,i only hope that same trait spreads to your sense of musicality;)Although dubbin this video with Josh Wink "higher state of consciousness"isa very promising sign Regards Dean!:)

  • well honestly to afford it, i work three well paying jobs and i saved up enough to treat myself. The LCD are CHAUVET brand and they were set for the music on the vid. But i have a DMX control for all the lights. Thanks for the respect, peace from the US

  • NICE SET UP...

how difficult was to arm the trusses for the ligths,

    what brand is your tripod/truss?

    Good Job!!!!

  • man, you got me scared there when you took 2 cd players on 1 arm/hand! But 2 hours to set up, isn't that long? I set up my stuff in about 45 minutes (no lights). I can't imagine the lights would take me another hour, would it?

  • yea man thats whatv takes the longest, setting them up and linking the cables and trying to make it look somewhat clean....the audio alone takes me 45-60min

  • Very nice setup you have!

How much is a dj coffin like that?

  • coffin was cheap actually, about 90bucks. very simple one.

  • Hey what scanners are those? They look pretty awesome!

  • CHAUVET Q-ROLL 250 AND Q-SCAN 250

  • How do they hold up for you? I'm afraid of Chauvets more expensive lights because they are all made in China however Martin's latest products aren't that reliable either. I'm still trying to get a Martin Xciter lighting board that actually functions correctly. In the past I had a nightmare of a time with their Ego 1 and Ego x4 fixtures (which have since been discontinued).

  • Niiiice setup mann!!

  • Thanks!

  • a bro one question I have is: Do you have cases for your equiment (lights) Im keeping my lights in the original boxes for now. I see you have alot of lights. Ho do you transprt them? What I mean is what do you keep them in sinc they are so awkwad in shape? Thanks man

  • nope, no cases. i keep my gear set up in my house except the lights. the awkward shaped lights stand up on da fat end so they fit under my decks the rest are just put away neatly. I just fit em in my small SUV carefully, i have all cables organized in labled plastic baggies

  • Nice setup. I could not hear what you were saying. How long did it take you to set everything up? Im just getting into djing. I did learn something from your video (setting up your truss solo). Thanks for the info man...

  • about 2hrs to set it up nice and neat and 1 to take it down

  • Good job. How long does it take you to setup? It takes me exactly 1 hour, take a look at my videos. Cheers my friend!

  • nice setup man

the music is to loud i couldnt here u speak

  • thats alright nothing important was said......thnx for comment!!

  • damn dude very nice setup, how much u did u put into it?

  • thanks bro, actually too much to post, lol.

  • haha dont need any further explanation :p

  • thank you to all comments, much appreciated!!!

  • hay good job! i like the intelligent lights!

  • Damn bro!!!That is one sick ass setup!!!You even have

    lasers,dope.

  • thank bro, just a "club in a box", lol

  • Holly fucking god...that's what I call a rig :D

  • if you want to know what good DJ's are out there. hollar

  • you in florida too?

  • hey bro your shit is tight, nice set up. what other type of dance music you play beside house. i am into the club scene. i know alot of good as dance music. check out European dance music is the shit.

  • i spin house, electro, progressive, tech house, minimal, some techno, some trance. i really dont like the very fast beat type music but i'll play if asked.

  • wow thats an increadable setup i like the scanners and the jbls are sweet pretty cool leds

my setup doesnt compare to yours but check it out

  • Good Idear Pitty All the Lights Are The Exsact Same But other wize its cool

  • holy shit bro thats soo sick, i work with same lights and all but i work for a company, you have that on your own....DAMN. How long did it take to setup? and lol you got two turntables,1 denon and efx...nice job, but know what sucks? Having all this equipment and having to play hip hop for most of the night at a party...=/

  • about 2 1/2hrs, but taking my time and solo.

yea, well thats why i promote "specializing in house music". im not into hip hop that much. at least to mix in a party. but if i had to i would. wouldn't be the best.

anyways thanks for the comment bro. peace!!!

  • just Like---->bearztagger<---- said (1 week ago) does that thing hold the tables steady? where can i buy it?

and also how do you transport your cdj-1000mk3s?.......do you have any cases? if you do which ones do you use?

and i like the first thing you set up,that table with the things you had on top of it....

well now.... about your gear i have to say that everything looks pretty good!!

  • cool vid

  • Goopd video, nice to show others what it's all about !! keep em comming!!

  • I ment good , and not Goopd oops!!

  • Looks like we need a party after boat day at Dan' clubhouse.

  • i've been trying to tell him but he's scared to. maybe you should try and convince him

  • does that thing hold the tables steady? where can i buy it?

  • as steady as i need'em. if you have a rough touch then probably not. the table doesn't move unless you phisically move it or bang it.

  • had to brace my table to the wall ;) at home

  • yea well, like i said if you have a rough touch then my stand is no good for you. i'm not a scratcher so i don't need a hard rock nonshaky stand

  • aah! there we go, i occasionally like to scratch...
