when I had been judged for manic behavior by socially acceptable norms, legitimately only once, I was angered at accepting blame but I owned it for once and am angry that I could have a tantrum and get attention and get shot up and drugged for being a brat but the reality is the fraud of that system. my point is that bipolar children are no less capable of being manipulative than any other children and they are able to push buttons for attention and manipulate family for pity, which I never could but all professionals need to understand the truth of bipolar kids from a former bipolar kid who knows the fear of true mania and the ineffectiveness of claiming disabled in real life and professionals and parents need to know and seek 2nd opinions before the label...
