They should stick to original songs. I wonder where you are should be in the key of F not B or B flat. It's also a jam session song. We have only heard this song 500,000 times. They do a good Quicksilver imitation though.
it's irrelevant in which chord the song was written. the song should be played in whichever chord works best for these particular vocalists. if they sing it in B or Bb, so be it.
hey man I'll telll you this, leave the choice of key and songlist to the performers, I play in a bluegrass band, and at times we will play any given song a half-step up or down depending on how everybody's "pipes" feel, so until you play the Ryman keep you opinions to yourself.....
Bluegrass perfection! Total excellence!!! That's awesome. Leave the keys up to the ''real'' professionals. That's what THEY are. Period!

He is good friends with Terry actually. They've played together on stage during some shows before.
The banjo player's name is Joe Dean and he's only 19 years old.
