That being said, the life expectancy issue is a lot more complex here. I'm really annoyed that, because of "patriotism," many people in the US and Canada oversimplify the issues.
We all need to keep in mind that the Canadian population is only 11% of the US population.
Isn't it COMMON SENSE that it's just easier to run a country with a smaller population?

If we have 35 Million and the USA has 350 Mill, then the stats would have to reflect 10X equation. i.e. If 2500 people were arrested for drunk driving in Canada, then it would mean 25,000 in the USA would have to be arrested to have equal (per capita) stats. So actually, O Reilly isnt off on that at all.
