@jueast I remember It being used as a smithy, used to be able to see the glow from the fire of the forge from the road while driving past, the last time I looked through the windows probably in the early seventies (not sure) it was full of dusty old farm equipment and looked abandoned. I used to visit my Grandmother in Blencow, she lived opposite Ennim (old grammar school I think )at Hill Top,memories eh?.still have Titteringtons busses?.
Ah nice memories for you. We only stayed for a week , it is now a two bedrooms two bathrooms holiday cottage.
Lovely place we may visit again sometime :)
Great food in the pub up the lane too, had venison fillet superb.
