  • "I got to have you by my side" "Sister" "Brother" It doesn't get any better. The fabulous Pointer Sisters.

  • @Cicilio1983 RCA sent this primarily to R&B radio, where the Sisters had struggled for airplay. This got up to #13 and then R&B radio forced Automatic as second single (Jump was supposed to be released, but got pushed back). It may not have been a pop hit, but it paved the way for Break Out to be a multiformat smash. INY has been included in every PS GH release showing the importance of the song.

  • One of my favorite pointer Sisters songs.

  • Can't quite understand why this song was not a hit single. So sweet, soulful, melodic, emotional... Listen to those vocal harmonies ! I'm so happy to hear a live version recorded when they all were at their vocal peak. You can't beat the Pointer Sisters !

  • God Rest the Baby's Soul. June rest in peace. We miss you. Bad dresses.... great voices.

  • This is the definitive "sisters song". It features all three lead voices and the message to me is quite evident. At the end of the day, these were true sisters who love each other. What a blessing and WHAT talent!
