I saw them open for White Snake in Seattle in 1989 (?). I was passing through Seattle on my way to Japan (US Marine Corps) and some chick was telling me that her boyfriend dumped her and she wanted a date to this concert. I wasn't doing anything until my flight at 2am so I accepted. I'd never heard of them before that! I was blown away! I became a fan of the BulletBoys and a little known guitarist at the time that was touring with White Snake by the name of Steve Vai!! I was one lucky bastard!
Are you basing this off of this clip? I never got the chance to see them live but they were probably an opening act most of the time (I think) and opening acts usually sound like hell cause they don't get a soundcheck. W/this clip, it's just stage volume, not what you'd hear in the audience....well, I hope not.
I never heard them live ether, but this clip sounds like hell. I did hear Slaughter live in 93 and they sounded rough, but sounded crisp on cd. Slaughter was opening for Kiss. Kiss sounded just like their cd, great.
I saw that tour too, KISS did sound great except for the drums. Which is weird cause he had a great drum sound from 83-88. This Bulletboys clip is all stage volume, that you wouldn't hear at a concert.
