This looks really sick... I've always been very strong in every part of my body EXCEPT my grip.. I have about the grip of a 12 year old girl lol, i'll try this out
To me this just says that you can lift more with the bar, and so the hands are getting more stress with the bar. I am also thinking that a fat bar gives more stress because of the open hand position. This towel seems to have two strikes against it then. One it is thinner and two your can't lift as heavy.
So what is the benefit here? is it just that it is a different type of stress for your hands? Does it stress your fingers in a more beneficial way or is it something else?
No, the hands don't get more stress with the bar exactly because it allows your hands to hold on to more weight easily. Do a set of pullups, and then add a towel and tell me that doing them on the bar is better for your grip.
Towels are one of the best things for forearm size and grip strength.
What does the towel do? I can see in the 2nd technique it is creating a fat bar, but in the first can can give me a little detail of what is happening and the benefit?

Enhances the grip component in each version. Increases the difficulty and benefit.

I don't get it. Sorry if i come over stupid but I am just trying to lean.
You hold the bar or you hold the towel. I guess the towel is going to be harder to grip, as it will try to escape through any spaces?

so RDL are like SLDL but instead of ending halfway then pulling up, you put it down like in normal deadlift and go from there?

Would you please explain to me why I see people often do RDL but not convenational or sumo deadlift?

The RDL is an assistance exercise for your posterior chain.
