I'm not Armenian Apostolic, but this is so beautiful. Thank you much for posting! I wish we had this every Sunday at the Roman church, but we're getting there.
@wolf77s Im a roman catholic too, i attend the extraordinary form of the mass actually on a normal basis. It is called the Divine Liturgy. The Armenian liturgy is similar to the liturgy of St. John Chrysostom used mostly by the byzantine rite or churches whose origin comes from Constantinople. But its altar's physical characteristics are similar to the roman rite's (traditional anyway) altar. There is an Armenian catholic rite in full communion with Rome, hopefully the rest of them will rejoin
"O MYSTERY DEEP, inscrutable, without beginning. Thou hast decked thy supernatural realm as a chamber unto the light unapproachable and hast adorned with splendid glory the ranks of thy fiery spirits. "
(fiery spirits are angels - "fiery" is the light of glory)
1 I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. 2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your loving kindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. 3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.
