Cancer patients respond very favourably to their envronment and mental stress. @idrathernotthannever. Read my original comment again. In Westminster it is Labour or Tory. The SNP can't win in a westminster contest therefore unless you want a Tory government you should vote Labour. The fact that Labour's vote held up in Scotland in 2010 meant the tories did not win an overall majority. Labour lost seats in every electoral region of the UK apart from Scotland.

I actually find youtube's policy that once a comment has received a certain number of negative votes, it will be hidden from view, with the phrase "This comment has received too many negative votes" taking its place quite annoying. (Although it can still be viewed, if the word "show" is clicked on). I think people should be allowed to vote down a comment, but I don't see the point in the exercise I just outlined. I know this isn't relevant to Iain Gray, but it's relevant to the comments.

Well I've found out in the past day that Iain Gray and his cronies are for suppression of free speech. I posted a comment mildly criticising Gray and how his cheap stunt of ripping up the SNP manifesto had backfired, and how he is ganging up with the Tories to keep the unfair council tax and this does nothing to help the people he claims to represent, and the £500million funding cut. My comment was deleted and then adding comments was disabled. Labour are totally anti free speech.

Annabel Goldie certainly conducts herself well compared to Iain Gray or Wendy Alexander but no matter how she comes across her doctrines are still tory. We have a long memory of tory rule in Scotland and the UK. We will see a different side to her and her collegues once they are in power and as has been said below, probably enough to tip the balance in favour of independence in Scotland

The reason that Scotland will vote yes in 2010 is because Scots do not want to live under Tory rule for another dozen years. Labour is set to suffer a massacre on the scale of 1997, and the Scots see it as well as everyone else.
Once David Cameron takes over, Scottish nationalism will easily break the 50% threshold.
If Labour had not been such a failure, nationalism wouldn't even be on the table. Shame on Gray for his lack of leadership, which only advances the cause of Scottish Nationalism.

The referendum bill was proposed by the Elected Scottish Government for 2010 and Labore simply want to try anything, even a u-turn to try and defeat it, not because of Scotland or what's best for its people, but simply it seems to get their own way! Playing games with peoples lives, that's Labore, while they spend your tax money with gay abandon and sign lucrative book deals! I'd respect them more if they honoured the 2010 plan and argued their case fairly, maybe they can't win that debate?
