i have a 98 dakota with the 3.9 in it and i want to straight pipe it what would be the best way to do it and it still be legal

not anyway to be straight and legal... ive learned that the hard way! my 3.9 ram 1500 is straight full pipe to the tailpipe and inside the cab is quiet, outside so loud. no matter what a 3.9 is loud, for some reason... little V6's haa

@benroll532 straight pipes aren't legal, closest you can get would be a glasspack, try a cheap one like a Jones or Flowtech Redhot, but get one with a half inch bigger openings, like if you have 2.5" pipe then get a 3" in/out glasspack, get reducers and weld it into the stock pipes, keep the stock cat and tailpipe, that'll sound the best trust me

i got s 2002 durango with the 4.7l and the sound after you release the gas is nasty! overall it sounds goot but man that after sound is a nasty loud crackling sound you can here it in here that higher loud crackling??? not pretty get glasspacks on there man will sound much better i'm having mine put back on
