People say the USA World Cup was a total stinker, but I completely disagree... true, the football was slower because of the heat and because refs were calling too many fouls (punishing the thugishness that ruined the previous tournament), but there was much more attacking football (3 points for a win), many more upsets, and a great storyline in Roberto Baggio's five goals in the later rounds! Italy and Brazil actually hit their stride late... too bad they took the gloss off in the final.

For an innocent, casual and not intentional handball Italy was given a penalty against Argentina in Mexico 86. Watch it by yourselves on Youtube. The handball on this game was intentional. But it was Italy. Italy should have not played the semifinal, because on the BEST 16 round they FAKED a penalty against Nigeria, and Nigeria had an excelent team.
