  • He looks like bruce willice with hair lol

  • Great tutorial, any plans for one on the human flag?

  • Hey man, thanks for your video. I downloaded it to my computer to have it handy. I want to become a vegetarian as well. You've got a great body, man. I'm 37 and I think I can reach a similar shape as yours. Congratulations!!!

  • I haven't finished watching yet, but I have to comment , have you always been able to squat like that with your knees past your toes? I think because I can't do that (ankle flexibility), I will never be able to do a pistol squat.

  • Thanks for the time to educate us about how it's done. Very helpful and (i think i speak for all the other when i say ..) we are very greatful :)

  • Such a great video, very detailed. I'll keep on working on it...

  • This is a free jewel right here for those who can't do a muscle up. This is the video that you need. And it was free.

  • Thanks! Best video on the topic I've come across so far.

You mentioned towards the end of the video the need to also strengthen your back. This is one sticking point I'm trying to resolve. Is there any advice you can give on working out and strengthening the back, and maybe a video on the topic?

    Cheers dude.

  • thanks, very good instructional

  • Thank you already!! This is gold right here... I'm gonna work all this out, then send some feedback aroun'. Peace up dude.

  • has anyone told you that you would look like matt serra if u were bald?

  • I have seen a couple of muscle up vids on YouTube but this is by far the best as it thoroughly addresses each specific range of movement in relation to the muscle-up : D

  • if 1 arm is stronger than the other...by alot....one feels like its gona dislocate >< the other barely feels anything...inner shoulder..maybie its cuz i doslocated my shoulder when i was small... . :(

  • @crazyfuz2 you can strenghten it. one arm pulldowns. internal/external rotater exercises. two arm static hold pullups/chinups. many different exercises. take your time and balance it out. this is a life long progression

  • Awesome how to vid :)

  • great video... i really couldn´t think of a better way spending 28minutes of my time right now, it was very informative as well as entertaining in a way... makes me want to work out again but i already did just an hour ago! inspiring.

  • your voice is like edwards:D

  • this is by far the most precise MU tutorial i ever seen on youtube. you added much more details that other videos left out, such as the kipping method, 3/4 arm,etc etc. I'm currently able to do a sequential muscle up (a muscle up where u pass the transition phase with 1 hand at a time) only , do u know if its a matter of technique or explosive that i cant do a proper muscle up? i personally think that its the lack of kip because i can do a sequential MU from a deadhang. what do you think?

  • @mrnastyburp possible one arm stronger than the other. do u always go to the same side first? try one arm chin static hold and compare sides for strength. also train kip and you'll be up and running. watya think?

  • @kalosthenos yes i always enter the transition phase with my right hand.but i can do it with the left hand too, just that i feel weak with my left hand, perhaps its the physical barrier thats stopping me. but besides, i dont get & cant seem to visualize the part where u pull ur chest to the bar and when ur arms are parallel to the ground during the transition phase. another problem i face is that im too used to doing a pullup that my arms naturally goes in to the pullup angle instead of a pendulum

  • @kalosthenos i cant seem to pass the part where u pull ur chest to ur arms and when ur arms are parallel to the ground , with ur arms tucked in

  • @mrnastyburp u will, keep doing plyo pullups

  • best muscle up tutorial on youtube

  • This is solid Dan.

  • Awesome-thanks Dan-Best muscle up tutorial I have seen, and I 've watched them all. I really liked the segments on the 3/4 muscle ups, and the focus on the abs for the kip strength. I had never seen that before-You obviously thought the progressions out very carefully . As a PT, I appreciate your anatomy and physiological explanations. This tutorial is perfect companion to Barology 101 dvd set. Anyone who wants to get truly functionally strong, and never go to a gym again has to have that.

  • Appreciate this vid man ive been waiting for something like this
