  • That's such a cute mouse! Your mice are so adorable! Their patterns and color are amazing. An thanks to your videos I've started training my girls!

My girl Akumu actually does swim, without me forcing her to or anything. I don't even touch her. It surprised me when she waded into some water I put in the sink to wash my face(she was crawling on the counter and watching me.) ever since she's been a little swimmer!

  • Is that a feeder

  • Exactly ! Idk how I got here but I e seen so many ppl put their animals in the water saying " aw she likes it" no! They don't ; they swim to not drown and the swim to the edge trying to get out xD

  • Do snakes like water?

  • Good man ... Little animals dont like water your a good owner

  • Haha so true!

  • awww that mouse is soooooo cute :)

  • U pissed me in the eye ...

  • I hate to say it, but, I was cruel. I'd build my rats boats, put them out on the water, poke a hole and watch them climb up to escape the water. Then they swam very well. Kids probably shouldn't have these animals. They think they are entertaining the animal, but, probably are terrifying it instead.

  • throw it in the water pussy

  • Cute mouse!!

  • My bath tub has a slope to it, so what i'm gonna do is partially fill it so that it is like a beach. Half land, that leads to water. My mouse can then decide if she wants to swim or not. :D

  • i dont own any rodents so i may be wrong

a bird needs to be thrown out of the nest in order to fly for the first time

  • @TheKanonHara Jesus, I hope you're kidding.

  • @IceYourPimpHand if you were a bird owner you would know that throwing a bird is the best thing for it.

  • @JessicaAsskick That's because birds need to know how to fly, mice are not fish, and they are natural swimmers.

  • @IceYourPimpHand well, youre never gonna teach those mice how to fly unless you throw those mother fuckers.

  • @JessicaAsskick Are you retarded?

Tell me how chucking mice in water is going to benefit it in any way.

  • @IceYourPimpHand it gets them clean. you can hate me for this but, every time i clean my hamsters cage i give both hamsters a bath with tear free baby body wash. one of them had longer fur and his under side is usually stained with pee and he smells aweful.

  • cute mouse

  • CONCLUSION !! Ahahaha

  • Thank you this video is very helpfull i have a mouse of my own and it is a terrible idea to put your pet mouse in the water. the only water they should have is to drink and ocassonaly to dab them with a napkin to clean them so once again great job. oh yea and check out my channel shadowknight6146

  • Agreed with all you guys coments! I have two pet mice in my room (in a cage) and they sleep at day, then, they wake you up at night! If you have a hamster wheel then make sure you oil it with some canola oil so it won't go rusty and squeak when your mouse run on it.

  • @mairiclemaker10 I used to have two mice they would wake me up at 3am. But other than that they are fun to play with during the day and night c:

  • @disturbedpatron if mice are nocturnal, if i get a few, will they keep me up all night and not play with me in the afternons?

  • over the past 5 years I've had 7-8 mice. :) I enjoyed giving them baths.

  • She looks pregnant :3 *pokes*

  • Well. I kinda feel like a fool now. I put a Swimming Pool Inside of my hamsters cage so I can see if he swims. I dont force him but i somehow try to get him to swim. Does that make me an idiot? I'll Take it out if you guys want me too.

  • what a beautiful mouse

  • Awww that nice! So people see the mouse does not want to go in the water but still put them in all the way. Ur sweet.

  • Hedgehog need to bath but just in whater so they can stand up

  • Very good respond. I think it's great that you showed those people that it's wrong to force their pets to do something like swimming. Besides that it can be very, very dangerous when the water is too cold, because they will get ill. And when those little animals get ill, it's very hard to heal them.

  • I squeed when you said "CONCLUSION: mouse does not want to swin" And whan you said "mousey" :33

  • well the title is misleading. he never gets in the water

  • awwww he is sooooo adorableee!!!!! <3 :D

  • yes!Somebody with a brain!!!!

  • Finally, someone with common sense.

  • I like the spots on your mouse, it's cute.

  • looks like shes terrifeid of the water D:

  • She has beautiful markings

  • I didn't realize that mice could swim until today, but it is true that people shouldn't force them to just because they're able to. By the way, that's a very adorable mouse. :3

  • Your right! So is your mouse! Rodents HATE water! (unless they are drinking it). Nice video! The mouse is sooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!! Is he still alive?

  • Your mouse is adorable! I love the little black and white pattern he has on his coat. Do you still have him? :)

  • Transcribe the audio to English and go to 1:27

    "You just a machine"

  • is that mouse pregnant

  • awww ur mousey iz uber cute! my bro is giving me a pet mouse sometime next week n ive heard tht they can swim pretty good but i would NEVER EVER just throw it or any other lil critter into water and FORCE it to swim! thats called animal cruelty and im against that! so good job guy! :D

  • Maybe eventually it will try to swim and will like it, then you can put little floaties and stuff in for it to float around on and rest whenever it feels like lol

  • Hedgehogs are not rodents. They are insectivores! All rodents have buck teeth that grow. But hedgehogs do not have buck teeth in the front.

Hedgehogs are related to moles and shrews, and are not rodents at all. :)

  • Excellent! A +++ you rock!

  • She so makes me wish I could be a male mouse!

  • @battywattywoo Thats a little creepy xD lol

  • Ya soo many people put ther hamsters, mice, rabbits in pools and ther not ment to be in water soo they will prabally drawnd!

  • I 100% agree. But I believe to have heard that Hedgehogs are naturally filthy and sometimes they do need baths to prevent health problems. I am no expert though.

  • Great response - there are far too many idiots who think that just because an animal CAN do something that it is okay to force it to do it. So many people don't seem to understand that just because your pet doesn't die from an event/environment doesn't mean its good or that it makes it happy.

  • @critterynews Amen

  • @critterynews Hate when pet owners force their pets do stuff.. And also when they play with them as if they were a toy and not a living thing

  • @knifecollector98 lol maybe in your world

  • @knifecollector98 if you were a real "dude" it doesn't matter what the hell you say so get a life

  • @knifecollector98 i think its adorable when guys say cute. o3o

  • @knifecollector98 so when you have kids. if you have kids when you hold your first baby your not gonna say its cute?

  • @knifecollector98 all the people have the rights

  • i have given my mae mouse a bath twice and he liked it i think, he just sat in my hands and didnt seem to give a toss, i love him, but he stinks :(

  • 8 people hate animals

  • A lot of RATS love the water, and LOVE to swim, it's not cruel when they like and enjoy it.

  • @Xriny some dont always like it though. smart one.

  • @Xriny Thats true if they like it it's not cruel but if they dont wan to and throw them in ther thats animal abuse!

  • Your actually NOT supposed to put hamsters in water. It rubs off their scent. If you want to give your pets a bath PLEASE use critter POWDER. NOT water!! They have pumice powder that you can bathe your animals with. It works SOOO much better. I've tried it. (Plus on most pet websites and books it says only to put your pet in the water if the vet approves.)

  • Awwww I love his/her color

  • I'm glad that there are people like you around.

  • Great vid! I get really sad when people letting their rodent swim. Its not like they give them a choice, they just put/throw them in the water and there are no place were the rodent can even get up from the water itself, but you see them swimming in panik towards the edges in a desperate attempt to get out of it :(

  • i agree no RODENT SWIMMY

  • Soo tru, cute mouse, but i did that test and it acutall leaped in the water lol, i let her do it onces a week so her skin doesnt dry up!

  • @inuyashadood yes. your reason to put your mouse in the water is very reasonable. best reason ever.

  • AMEN! I'm so glad you made this! ^.^

  • hellllllo HERO. My pet mouse has babies awhile back, and dear lord I gave one to a friend thinking she could take care of it and then I found out she was throwing the poor thing in her JACUZZI to make it swim. Irate, I drove over to her house and took the poor thing back. Careless people, I swear.

  • glad this wasn't one of those stupid videos of people throwing their rodents in the water. :D

  • @Aquamarine450

Yeah, i was trying to prove a point, that rodents although they can swim (are able to), that doesnt mean that they prefer or even enjoy it, most (mice) hate getting wet.

  • @disturbedpatron well i'm very glad you did, because a lot of people out their need to know that !!

  • @disturbedpatron i wont a mouse, buy my mom would kill me =P

  • @disturbedpatron thats a cute little mouse. much cuter then the wild ones:) I want a hedgie and would NEVER torture it. my pets are spoiled.

  • Lol I agree with you! XD

  • Omg i zo agree whit uu!

  • Haha nice =)

  • Cute Mouse

  • "now lets see if the mouse wants to swim"

    Mouse: AHHHHH HELPPPP HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

  • If only all treated the mice this way!

  • Oh thank god, there's someone on youtube that has a brain. I can't believe the people that force their pets to go in the water just because they think it's CUUUTE. Those poor animals. I realize there are some rodents that enjoy a swim, but most don't. :c Thank you very much for posting this video. I hope it reaches some of the cruel owners out there and makes them think twice.

  • I thought you were gonna tip your hand or submerge it lol..

  • youre a faggot .

  • @DanEboyw Projecting much?

  • i hate you.

  • @DanEboyw ok?

  • @DanEboyw Jealous hes got a mouse xP

  • i agree with you! ^^

  • Haha there should be more ppl who care about their pets :D

  • I <3 Rats and mice!

  • ur a great pet owner

  • RIP OFF

  • @jaalesliejaa just dance, gonna be okay

  • @disturbedpatron i see some videos of rats that enjoy swimming

  • @blowgunking1994 I have as well

  • People should listen to you. I fell the same way you do!!

  • Thanks for posting. I feel the same way when I see most of those swimming videos. There may well be some rodents out there that enjoy a swim, but it seems like most of the pets that get placed in water didn't get much of a chance to test it and show their reaction. Also, would it kill some owners to leave part of the tub dry so they can get out if they want?

  • @turquoise70 Voice of reason. Any rodent (and to lesser extent, cat and rabbit) swimming video seems to be a nexus of hate on YouTube.

So long as the animal is in warm water, isn't in for too long, and is dried soon after, what's the harm? And yeah, it seems a bit mean to put so much water in that the animal can't even touch their toes to the bottom.

  • @turquoise70 I agree, why not have a little island, im sure most of the animals would cling to it... I made this video due to the hedgehog video and the one with the two hamsters and one (almost?) drowns.

  • @turquoise70 I'm doubting most people have bathtubs with flood gates that can keep certain parts dry lol
