Their Type 99 and 100 automatic weapons were based (in some parts) off the Bren and Sten guns to some degree. Their Pre-WWII Battleships were often British built (in fact, I think the Battleship Mikasa [of 1905 fame]was purchased under liscense from Vickers?). Running out of space--!

You know what, I'm starting to believe that all this negative Japanese sentiment during WW2 is all bullshit propaganda created by the English & Americans to make people feel a better about the Yanks testing a Nuke/Atom bomb on the civilians of Japan. Japan is a beautiful country I wish I could live there Im still chasing my dream.

@AnimationPlantation Only problem with that is it's not just the Americans and British who talk about what the Japanese did. Ask anybody alive then in the Philippines, China, Thailand, Vietnam or especially here in Korea. Most Japanese people today are very nice and they have a good country but they did some horrible things during the war.

@Macgarnickle The Japanese society is still much more honorable and respectful than any Western country in my humble opinion. Besides, Americans and the British have a much worse rapsheet when you compare the evil deeds they've done to the world and to their own nations. This anti-Japan thing from WWII is just idiotic, ignorant, blind patriotism if you ask me.

@Macgarnickle General McArthur is to blame for the Philippines he surrendered when he had impregnable strategic advantage he ran away like a little bitch to Brisbane for the remainder of the war he is responsible for the deaths of many fellow Australians along with Americans & Philippine rebels & soldiers. Sure Japan did horrible things but I don't think anything they did equal the A Bomb dropped on them. I love Korea u should b more angry at America & China 4 separating your beautiful country.

@drhollywood77 nope. the germans fought for what they believed was right and for the fatherland. the japs are cowards because they call fighting flying planes into ships (suicide). fighting is facing your enemy. the dropping of the bomb has been 100% justified. either a million american troops and god knows how many japs died fighting on land or 200,000 people die by a nuke.

@WeekNightGaming yes facing the enemy, so what is facing the enemy in your opinion ? bombing them from the air with weapons they can't stop ? using mass artillery when you know they can't shoot back ? typical american strategy.. they japanese arm theirselves with a device and then directly run in their enemies while looking in their eyes.. the only cowards are the americans ;)

@drhollywood77 yep & it is a fact, boy, not an opinion. america gives so much aid to countries and helps out so many people. i wouldn't be talking. apparently ur great nation doesn't do that much. shoot who with a helicopter? the people responsible for killing troops? or for 9/11? i want them dead. they are cowards for HIDING and shooting troops. they are cowards for hijacking planes to kill innocent lives. at some point the enemy has to call a loss, because by not they are digging a deeper hole
