when he saw SCV's coming up to his base, his APM grew so fuckin fast, he selected and grouped his drones, he cancelled his extractor, and made some lings, bring the drones to his natural, all this shit in like 2 seconds, less.

What happened is the terran saw an early-expansion attempt and tried to cut it off. The sunken was unexpected, but he realized he had the power to fight it. It was ipxzerg's excellent macro that permitted ipx the zerrglings needed to swing the fight.

It might have seemed like a noob move to you, to pull your SCVs and marines off of mining duty and attack, but that's only because you're used to playing starcraft at a normal level - or maybe even an online level.

Pros are entirely different. Look up "Boxer's Perfect SCV Rush" and you'll see what I mean.
