  • what if you can average sub 10 already on the non algorithms method...im getting an average of 7 seconds somtimes, what do you think my tome would be if i do oka method

  • Good tutorial! Better than all the others on Youtube (that I could find) =)

  • You move way to quick with turns for this to be really helpful to a new person with this type of puzzle.

  • I have mine with

  • what kind of pyraminx is that

  • is it average for have the pyraminx for 2 days and to solve it in 11 secs?

  • you speak REALLY slow...

  • is this "youtube style"

because from my understand the second edge in the beginning is supposed to be the other edge with a 3 move solve, in regular oka

  • do you have a small pyraminx or big hands?

  • Hey, as you probably know, this isn't the full method that Oka and Odder use. I just made a tutorial on another trick that they use with this method. It's on my channel if you're interested.

  • Okay, so you told me how to do this and that, but how do you do these cases?

You trying to understand that is like me trying to understand this video.

  • Hey Maarten, I just learned Oka xD

  • This is Richard Patterson's system, as I know. He invented it a long time ago.

  • @Bereczka Can you make a tutorial on the full yohei oka

  • thats not the full yohei oka method, because i met with yohei at WC2009 and he told me his method. I was the fourth on WC

  • thank you for this video tutorial... now I understand OKA method more... thanks again... :D

  • it's so silly, yohei and i started cubing around a similar time, and i use this exact same method, which i have done since i started solving. it's somehow called "his" method, despite me and several others also using it, without knowing it was his....

  • Well, I believe Takumi Yoshida started with calling it the OKA method. I think it just somehow stuck. If the maker of the first tutorial on youtube for this method was a good friend of yours and had never heard of Yohei before, I think it would be called the CC-method or somthing like that :)

  • Now, that's a very smart reaction. I admire your observation, seeing it is a pyraminx and not a cube. Also a nice thing is, that it is indeed not a scrambled cube, not only because it is not a cube, but also as it is being scrambled and solved in the video. Kudos to you, pal.

    Now seriously. WTF?

  • yay =)

seems that I am not the only one who wanted a pyraminx tut ^^

    :P

  • this'll be useful when I finally get a working pyraminx :P

Perhaps you could put the edge cycles in notation in the vid description? :)

  • I put 'em all in the vid with annotations. =)

Now get your ass on MSN.

  • nice
