I've never heard this before it's not the Drifters but it's GREAT I remember as a kid in NY when Otis was only played on NY's three black stations He didn't really make the jump to the mainstream Rock and Roll stations until "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" by then he was gone and as great as that song was it was different from the hard core R&B Otis usually did If only he had gone further I was surpised to see his songs on the Stones "Out of Our Heads" which was good but not Otis Vaya Con Dios
THE BEST OTIS ,respect , inoubliable ,le magicien de la soul ,resteras toujours dans nos coeurs de sixties , number one soulman very gooddddddddddd !!!

You can hear it, feel it, this is just legit...bonafide. It screams yells and hollers REAL music. At least to me.

Classic of it self. Otis Redding is also an origins of legends!.

This sounds like a remix to me. It seems to have more echo than the original. But still sounds GOOD!

@dynastygasque1 where do you think Hip Hop artists/producers get their inspiration from? Yes from greats like these.

Are the drums original to the recording? They feel a bit out of place with everything else going on here.

@MrFourinhand Interesting observation, I didn' t notice it.

Sounds like a recent recording? Al Jackson Jr was just ahead of his time. His drumming has been used over n over in rap.
