A wondrous concept.Just imaging finding a marvelous lyricist ,book writer,& musician & commissioning a musical in a magical far away land. Can't wait to hear every squiggle.
Wheahhh !!! When they are speaking about 'people' they reffer exclusivly about gents,.those muslim don't respect not at all, the ladies. The ladies in their society is a "making childrens machine" ONLY !!!
@nelrod03 First wear the traditional Qatari clothes, then start socializing with the local Qatais, and try to learn some Arabic with a Qatari accent. If you didn't fool a Qatari citizen at one point to be also a local Qatari, then I don't advise you to hold a citizenship of a society that you don't belong to. Believe me, it is easier to get a Canadian citizenship since you live in Canada. ;p
@b00015984 ...Too much red tape !! Just check my reply to leonadomoses. I was born in Qatar & spend some years there. Those days life was as good as living in Saudi Arabia. Now, its improved a lot. But, still a lot needs to be done. By, building new tall bldgs, holding Asian games, etc...don't try and paint a rosy pic of the place. Live in the West, where basic rights are respected, etc
you have to live in Qatar for 25 years, speak arabic, hold a good job and have no police record both in Qatar and your home country and then, just then they might give you citizenship!
But, i think its the same scenario in every A Gulf state. But, living in Qatar for 25 yrs, by that time, its almost retirement..lol ! This way, These Arabs are keeping the population in check. They are afraid their country will be swamped by other Nationalities & loose their identity. They afraid, when expats become citizens, there could be instability.
guys thats sog wagf iam from qatar thers shopping and coffes shop but thers malls and cinplex and games and its not open contry lool....... iam from qatar......
@SecularTechnology thank you for the english lesson, forgive me i didn't care how i spelt "you're" wrong, i was more focused on getting my point across. Now i see you have book smarts but obviously not common sense.
MissXQatar, I was in Qatar for 1 day before going to Dubai. It was ok. At first when i got out of the airport i did not like it then I started to love it. After watching this video I learned more about Qatar.
hey , pls make me understand something , at 3:15 there are 2 couples at a restaurant having dinner i supose one of the women weares hijab and the other one i think nijab (the face covered too ) ... how does she eats at the restaurant ... or she simply doesn't :|
"Dear arabs, you see Iran is powerful like a lion (unlike us)..Now, I am strong enough to make it angry by saying Arabian Gulf instead of Persian Gulf...ha ha ha..I can even say it your islands are mine..."...and the wealthy arab person smiles at tv and goes back to bed with his wives! Some miles away in other arab countries, poor arab kid sleeps hungry in street and doesn't know the new name for Persian Gulf is a good thing to feed him or not..
....could've gotten an extra 40 if that guy would've just mind his own business. But yallah...I got only 20 over market..would do you think. I started selling cloth yesterday.
ı miss Qatar
