  • Will the red fule tank use auto gasoline, or must we have the gray tank?

    Thanks

  • @cowboy112051 you need to have gray dual fuel tank for regular gasoline.

  • @JRKFamilyOutdoors Hello I have the same stove that you have here I have a propane regulator with a very short generator, I was wondering if you knew where i could get just a longer generator to use propane bottle on my stove

  • @cowboy112051

You don't want to use regular gasoline except in an emergency, anyway. It clogs the generator like crazy, even though it's "designed" for it.

  • I live in the UK where do I get the generator and the hose for the large propane bottle for the Coleman 425E? As I have just brought an old Coleman 425E from the US

    Many thanks

    Arthur

  • I do propane.

  • Thank you, hank hill.

  • your such a big silly beast

  • it looks like the top port on the propane tree could be used for the single burner stove too other than it may be top heavy and you would need to secure it better.

also you can refill the disposable bottles too

  • @ejonesss you canremove the top sectio of the propane tree to make it shorter & less top heavy also get a square milk crate to set your 20# cylender in

  • This is a favorite pursuit of my family. We got some good tips at rvparkandcampingexpert (.) com

  • great video man. very well presented and explained. keep it up

  • what ever happen to a camp fire and a flat rock for cooking food good vid

  • I have never seen a Propane Tree, great instruction, Thanks for posting.

  • Where's the best place to get that propane generator for my dual fuel stove?

  • Nice video. Glad you did it so I didn't have to.

  • Great video! Thanks for posting!

  • Joel, I just inherited an old stove similar to yours. It has the 4 inch long adapter you have with a permanent attached hose with the other end set up with the Male external thread for a standard propane tank. I can't recall offhand if this is the new style or if it is even still the old style. Anyway, can I get an adapter for this end to hook to the small green propane tank. I need an adapter one end accept Male style propane thread and one end small green tank. Thanks.

  • @blink618 I was just looking at a catalog I just received recently from Cabelas and they have an adapter that I believe will work. I am sure other stores would carry something similar . Thanks!

  • what about the orifice size? would they be different when switching from kerosene to propane?

  • @ishotwapiti When you buy the adapter it is already to go. Your orifice is built into the adapter.

  • Personaly I prefer gasoline. You get more heat and carry less fuel you also save weight in transportation My stoves: 4M gasoline ( can burn Kerosene if preheated) 500 gasoline ( can burn Kerosene if preheated) 530 gasoline Net cost of all these 40 to 60 year olds less than a new dual fuel 425. My lanterns: 237 gasoline or kerosene 236 gasoline 247 gasoline or kerosene 242B gasoline Net cost of all these 40 to 60 year olds less than a 2 dual fuel north stars and better are built.
  • Where do you get the propane generator and what is the part number?

  • @1975DLR There are many brands. Just search for propane adapter for coleman gas stove.

  • Please do one about refilling a porpane bottle
