@lotteskatergirl1993 I visited Rhienbeck several times back in the 70's. Most of the planes are not originals, they were built from original plans and many of them had authentic engines of the period but the airframes were fairly new.
It is a Sony DCR-SR45 Handycam with Hybrid Disk Drive. 30 Gb or 20 hours storage capacity. The digital audio is absolutely fabulous with this one. These cameras are so light that they are prone to the herky-jerky movements of the cameraperson. Better used with a tripod or monopod. I think that I was using my tripod as a monopod when I shot this.-KFS
Also the audio is prone to wind, breathiing and other cameraperson noises due to its incredible sensitivity. Styrene or other foam placed over the mike opening may dull this without any degradation to the desirable sounds.
I was really hoping to see more of that SPAD than the occasional glimpse.
