I believe he's using a script/shell on N900 to bypass DisplayPort for "Incoming video" on the MBP. Since the new iMac Unibody's have this, I don't see why the MBP/MB cannot.

Still looks nice, and I'd argue sales of Mac's using Aqua are higher than ALL manufacturer's shipping KDE/Gnome combined.
