And you may think that it's boring, but if you really watch the game instead of turning it on, seeing 2 strikes thrown and then deeming it boring, you may see that its actually pretty exciting a lot of times, with and without the rivalry. this video tries to make people respect baseball by showing unbelievable catches which are rare, and crazy stuff that never happens. this only encourages the notion that if you wait around long enough, you'll see something amazing. the problem is that that's exactly what you'll be doing: waiting around. waiting and being bored because you won't understand what's really going on. it's actually a fascinating game, but not that many people understand it.

I personally don't think that baseball is boring at all, because while your waiting your seeing some tense, bases loaded, runners and second and third and stuff like that. And then at least once every 2 innings a home run. So that makes it exciting and not that boring, also, at least once per game or two, you'll see that great play. Then you'll see the team your rooting for win, and it's instantly an exciting thing. But, I like how you put your comment, you were respectful, most ppl aren't tday

Watch the Sports Science on this topic. Any MLB player would need no more than a year playing cricket to become at least an everyday player. None of the top players in cricket could transition to baseball no matter how hard they tried. They wouldn't even make it through amateur ball.

Let's see. The typical soccer game last 92 minutes not including half time. The average goals scored in soccer is between 2 and 3 per game. So something interesting happens every thirty minutes, whereas in baseball something happens every pitch. The only skill soccer requires is acting skills. In those 90 mins, someone might score a goal, or not, but there will definitely be drama and bad acting. Soccer is only played by girls in the US yet in Western Europe they pack 400,000 of the most inebriated low class scum into a stadium and watch a woman's game being played by men in shorts. American football is played by men that bench 300+ lbs.

Skill levels in sports.
The top three are definately Baseball golf and basketball. The rest, you don't need much natural ability, you just need to be conditioned (which you need to be in baseball anyway: Don't contradict me unless you've played at least high school or higher).

I've played hockey, never in anything besides a club league but it wasn't that hard. My personal preference though: Go through the defense, not around them. Applies to hockey, football, and lacrosse.

anybody with halfway decent foot-eye coordination can kick a ball. And running? any fat *ss can run for a while. Many baseball players run to get in shape. Ichiro Suzuki, Jacoby Ellsbury, and many many more baseball players could probably outrun some soccer players. Also, I have much respect for soccer..many baseball players do...half the players on my high school baseball team also played soccer and they all agree that hitting a baseball is harder than running and kicking a ball.

2) Steroids dont help you hit a baseball. Hitting is like 85 percent hand-eye coordination, 14 percent mental approach, like .5 percent timing then another .5 percent for power. Steriods makes you stronger, not more hand-eye coordinated or smarter when it comes to hitting.
