  • Hellho, let me say that´s a great video, just have one question to you, Those VIVA films, where do you find them, i just bought a polaroid to my girlfriend, but i can´t find type 88 films anymore. Can you help me?? Or theres not any solution? Thnk you!

  • @mccreadygossard thank you for the comment. You look for squared format peel apart film. they are all TYPE 80 Film. there are many different iso of type 80:

    84, 89, 88, 87, 90...etc

the only way is to buy old stocks from ebay (if they're available)

check my blog post i've writed about super rare type 80 films :)

    kontain.com/fabrizio/entries/106939/super-rare-polaroid-films/

  • @fabfabtube Yeah, i have noticed that they stop make those films..mine it´s a 88 film =S What a shame..

  • awesome video. i order my very own of this set! weee!

  • @garychengjw thank you! have fun! :)

  • i want a camera that produces instant film and does cool affects but isn't too complicated. is this a good camera for me or should i just stick with a normal polaroid?

  • @xDreww04x hi, holga is all manual; i think if you want an easy click an film camera you can choose a polaroid 600 AF (autofocus). it works with Impossible Projects film too :)

  • @fabfabtube so would you suggest the polaroid 600 over the 300?

  • @xDreww04x it depends on what you want. Earlier comment you mention that u're looking for cool effects. Polaroid 300 doesnt offer that b'coz it's just another fuji instax rebrand to polaroid (polaroid licensed them). Polaroid no longer produce film(except the new 300) but u can use impossible project ones but they are still in experimentation phase so expect to see some fail results. If u know how to store the pics, u can keep them for a long time. Plus it is abit overpriced too.

  • @xDreww04x yes :)

  • I've probably watched this like 4 or 5 extra times just because of the music

  • @lokedog5583 Ennio Morricone is the most important italian musician of the last century. Amazing.

  • When you pull the white tab out, the picture comes out under it? Whenever i pull out my white slip, the picture follows it right out of the same slot. Does this mean i put my film in wrong? Because all of my pictures have come out wonky.

  • @TheOrangeCrayon132 try to pull the tab carefully in an orizzontal way.

  • is type 100 film the only available film for the holgaroid? my shots are coming out extremely dark

  • @tckychang type 80 and 100 films are multi-iso available (80, 100. 1500, 3000, Black and white...)

try with flash or long exposure shots.

  • I've had my Holga for awhile now, but I still don't know what the B/N switch does? Could anybody tell me? Also, how much would a polaroid add-on be?

  • @TheOrangeCrayon132 Hi. Are two different modes to open and impress the film. N is normal mode: a single click for a shot. B is for Bulb mode for long exposure shot (night, no flash). Look here: squarefrog. co.uk /basics/bulb-switch.html

  • @fabfabtube thank you!

  • I want one. Awsome. Great video.

  • can this holgaroid load in fuji film?

  • @OurMindBodyNSoul yes. all the TYPE 100 films

  • @ 2:36 onwards - u press the shutter 2 times and @ 2:55 onwards you placed a piece of paper at the side of the shutter. Why is that so?

  • @Montalox hi, i've used the paper to block the shutter and do long exposure shots with POSE B mode on the holga

  • @fabfabtube Thanks for the info!

  • Fantastic, well-made informative video. Thanks!

  • @marciamarciamarcia thank you!

  • I don't know which to choose over: Diana F+ or the Holga. Someone help, please?

  • @HelloKorii very different camersa! Two different worlds! Look @ what you want to do :)

  • @HelloKorii depends, id go holga over lomo diana f+ because the holga is a whole lot more sturdy. but if you can get your hands on an old diana by all means do it, my old diana f from the 60's has taken all my best pictures!

  • Awesome Video!!!!

  • so if i got a holga, i just need this polaroid back? Where can i get it!? :)

  • Can I attach this to Holga 135BC?

  • Is made for 120 mm holga cameras

  • What is the name of that piece of music ? Very appropriate - thanks.

  • @philiphengcy Ennio Morricone - Ritratto d'autore :)

  • Where can i buy that lens filter?

  • Where can you get a cut away mask like that which keeps the batteries in?

  • @surferlj1 you find it in the polaroid back pack

  • Can this also be done with a Holga 120N?

  • @Roxywas4u yes!

  • I'm italian. Where i can buy this object for my holga? Please

  • @Lelej86 you can buy it only online: search "polaroid back for holga" on google

the full camera is available on the-impossible-project website shop

  • @fabfabtube polaroid back holga? Ok But search a site with a spedition in italy

  • Great music match to the video.

  • How to use films from fuji like fp100c or fp3000b into holgaroid? i think the film is different size with holgaroid

  • @TheKomucit the holgaroid back load type 100 (8x10 cm) and type 80 film (like VIVA 90 Color). The old version of holga back loads only type 80 (8x8 cm).

  • @TheKomucit is there any modify to use film type 100 in film back type 80?

  • I WANT THIS! too bad it's freaking $150

  • this is so cool..

  • Guys,

Was wondering where to get the hack for this? Is it sold in the stores or I'll have to specially find someone who specialize in making one online?

  • @tarOtmoOse hi, it's available in stores, look on google for "holga instant back" :)

  • thanks a lot for this vid you helped me a lot!!!!

  • ITS A SUPER HOLGA!!!!!

  • I cant argue with moleman.

    thanks

  • @ansbert87 hi! It's "Ritratto D'Autore" by Ennio Morricone

  • awesome!!

    i love these old-look pictures!

    today i got a polaroid 600. great :)

  • @lottesingt Thank you! I've got a 600 too. It's a great camera :D

  • @fabfabtube i was in a camera-shop to buy some polaroid film, but there was nothing to buy. -.-

    no i can't use my camera. :\

  • @lottesingt shop.the-impossible-project. com

  • where did you buy the polaroid back? i want it soooooo bad!

  • @ndrarara buyed here shop.the-impossible-project. com/shop/accessories//ca_holgaback

  • I have a Holga, but unfortionatly without Holgaroid back, and i will save up to get one, developing 120 film takes about 35-40mins to do, including drying time. and about 3-5 mins to make a good print in the darkroom.

with this, the pros are odvious, go on holiday, and up on the mountain or wherever. you can see the results.

  • @rorrt holga with 120 is great.

it's awesome that you develop your films by yourself.

  • @fabfabtube

Yeah, at home, or in my college, more likey i develop at home.

Though i have taken to scanning and doing a hybrid film on photoshop thing, though i always think its cheating.

but my sights are on a holgaroid back.

(i also shoot on a Lomo Lubitel 120 sized TLR) its amazing, for about £40 i spent its worth it.

  • @rorrt yes, i try to do the same. when i scan from film never cross process with photoshop :)

Lomo Lubitel is a great camera too!

  • wow, this is so awesome. unfortunately, I don't have any polaroid cameras lying around, and I don't have the money to buy the back, either.

but at least I have my holga.<3

  • @SesameStreetAlphabet holga is a great camera, with or without the polaroid back :)

  • hello! i wonder why after i press on the shutter.. it didnt take any picture.. like when i pull it out it didnt show any images like ur video.. i pulled the light proof paper out.. aww i wasted 3 films already.. i dont know what to do now :(

  • @jagaabeee hi! :)

where u take the shot? outdoor with daylight?

outdoor with daylight --> N mode single clickshot

nightshot without flash or indoor shot with artificial ambience light ---> B long exposure (3 seconds to 1 minute exposure, need to block the shutter to expose the film)

  • i cannot find any poloroid 600 instant film anywhere! anyone know where i can get it for cheap?? thx, nice vid^^

  • @Breeshark hi Breeshak! you can buy the new 600 film by impossible project here: the-impossible-project. com

or the old polaroid films on ebay :)

  • @Breeshark

    Ebay.

  • fap fap

  • i'm sorry for the dumb question...but wat's the thing called at0:44?? and where can i get it? i mean... just that thing individually. can i? because i already had a holga cfn 120...i just want tt thing so i can attach to my holga...

  • @globetrekkerboon Hi! :)

It's not a dumb questions. There are some stores online that sell it. Look fot "Holga Instant back" or "Polaroid back for Holga" on Google.

U also need a lens adaptor and a film filter for vignetting reduction (they're in the instant back pack)

  • @fabfabtube thanx a million!!!

  • @globetrekkerboon you're welcome :)

  • @fabfabtube thanx a million!!!

  • molto interessante

  • @grace18655 grazie mille :)
