  • ...and this is why I got a knee surgery!

  • Thanks for putting this vid up, that's very awesome.

  • damn you 240p

  • Your grouping could have been tighter.

Only kidding, great shooting at such a huge distance, great stuff.

  • i would much rather get shot by a gun then shot with a bow because you have a better chance surviving a bullet haha

  • @bubbagumpshrimp14 uhhhh....???

  • @bubbagumpshrimp14

Wow bud, when this was wrote, you were drunk right?

    cuz that is dumb.

  • @vincekooyman wth, i didnt write that that hahaha

  • Respond to this video... why the hell did i put "that" twice

  • your kung fu is indeed the greatest

  • its all about the knock down power from a bow and arrow.. dont beleive me? google it bitch.

  • Those shots were amazing from that distance.

  • @GOBRAGH2 Our special forces are using crossbows (no wheels) so as not to wake up the neighborhood.

The small but lethal arrow head has no problem piecrcing so many layers of rags.

  • @MathewsHunter,

    FUCK MATHEWS.

MY PSE XFORCE OMEN WOULD SMOKE YOU ANYDAY!

  • use a drop away add more speed!

  • truthfully everyone is going to paralell limbs but id take a conquest 3 or a gforce they are more forgiving and are just as good and all paralell limbs do is make your fps go up but if you change a lil thing you mess up bad

  • nice shooting

  • HAHA! I think it's hilarious that you are wearing camo paint (or net) on your face, just to do target practice. Are you worried the target will spot you and run away?

  • @Hernt26 Looking at his bow with the quiver mounted to it I would say he is a hunter. It is a good idea for all hunters to practice shooting with the clothing they wear to hunt, making sure there is no problems with loose clothing, brimmed hat, anchor points with the face mask on. Better to find out these things now than having a deer in your sights and notice the problem then.

  • Excellent shooting!! And to the people that are crititcizing or talking bow brands, go watch your favorite brand bow's commercials and dream of that and take this for what it is.......... skilled target practice! Very good shooting lazyassasin!!

  • dang 84 pound draw? i can barely do 50(im thirteen)

  • Looks like he is going to have a hernia every time he draws the bow. And that type of shooting is just unethical if you are going to hunt like that. You can't be sure about your shots at that range, too many variables. Yourself, the wind, the animal, everything is a factor at that range with a bow. Please don't try to hunt like that. You are going to end up wounding more animals and not making ethical kills.

  • @dvallery1988 Shut the hell up he is shooting target not hunting good for him to try to push boundaries idiots like u making assumptions pisses me off appreciate the shots and take it for what it is target practice.

  • @dvallery1988 A kill is a kill.

  • Great shooting, but i'm still not a pse fan.

  • Nice range. I usually shoot deer at 100 yards, so 185 is ridiculous. Before any of you criticize me, I hit the deer about 75 percent of the time.

  • X-Force's are rated around 345+ fps at 30" draw and #70. This guy is shooting 31" with 84lbs which makes the speed ratings even higher. I'd say, yes it's very possible and I tip my hat to @lazyassasin for making it happen. My longest bullseye is currently 50 yards. Not even a third of this shot.

  • i have no idea how far away 185 yards is as we have the metric system, but thats some nice grouping.

  • @noosebrother 169 meters.

  • @noosebrother damn close to 185 meters

  • if this is real, great shots bro, sure makes shooting 20-40 alot easier

  • /MathewsSolocamHunter...You do realize saying no offense after saying something offensive doesnt make it right?

  • Alright Rambo

  • in a post apocalyptic world

Bow and arrow > machine gun

  • @EpikaDenU lol

  • @EpikaDenU completely agree, silent, barely needs any sort of maintenance and ammo is reusable.

  • @EpikaDenU IDK about that. I'm pretty sure you can't walk away from a 30 caliber machine gun; therefore, an arrow that takes 3 seconds to travel 185 yards might be inferior. I'm no expert though

  • @Bench4Eva Very very true but it's a hell of a lot easier to make a spear or bow and arrow than to make a gun and bullets, After WW3 it's back to Atlatl's and normal bows that has been proven for tens of thousands of years possibly even older than that. ;)

Gun scares off all the other animals, Bow can feed whole family,Just saying

I'll take a gun for defence against crazy people and a bow for food thanks. lol

  • @LS1NV I like the way you are thinking, guns for defense against crazy people, sounds like a good strategy :)

  • @EpikaDenU

I think a trad bow is where its at for the apocalypse. A compound will eventually need lubrication, adjustment.... and heaven forbid you drop it on the ground and bump your trusted sight out of place.

  • @CasterTown oh no your sight is out of place. it takes 3 shots to put it back into place. but i get what youre saying i would definitely prefer traditional archery over compound in that scenario.

  • @EpikaDenU A bow over gun? are you fucking stupid

  • @TheWakeMonster u gun over a bow? are you fucking stupid

  • @EpikaDenU In a post apocalyptic world guns and bullets will be in short supply a bow and arrow on the other hand are always easy to make and you don't need ingredents or in some cases advanced technology to make them but the target will be just as dead

  • @PhoenixDaga enters me, getting a chemistry degree, hobbies including blacksmithing and long range shooting. Damn I will be popular.

  • @PhoenixDaga There are a lot of guns an bullets. By the time they run out there won't be many people left to shoot. A bow is an interesting assassins weapon though, very quiet.

  • That is very very impressive! Amazing display of skill, the PSE X-Force is a fine instrument indeed.

  • A beautiful bow and piece of engineering but not what I would call a stick and string... Nice shooting though.

  • PSE pieces scattered everywhere

  • The best equipment on earth comes with no manufacture label and are usually flat black.

Its a stick with a string get over who's name is on it. The real question is how far can we go,

I think we will see the high 200's possibly mid 3's in the next few years.

  • @lazyassasin are you really guna need to shoot a deer or an animal with a bow that far away?

    no

anybody can do that they jjust need to practice a lot and have that pin its not that hard just gotta practice a lot

  • @lazyassasin u racised mother@!#$%^

  • @lazyassasin in other word Mathews beat PSE all day every day

  • @lazyassasin who gives a shit how far you can shoot? what is the practical application of this it can't replace hunting skills you should never need to shoot this far with a bow. If you truly believe it is a stick with a string then why don't you just use a stick with a string aka recurve? Fred Bear was the man! The most important part of bow hunting is not the gadgets...

  • @1overthehillsfaraway Did the uploader say anything about this being used as a hunting scenario? NO! I think it's pretty good shooting.

  • @UNDERATEDPLYR up at my archery shop we say that all the time!!!

  • all you guys fightin over what bow is best really does get old. all the newer bows from all the top companys (hoyt pse mathews ect) are good bows. it all comes down to knowing your bow and shootin it every day. ya some are faster and others are smoother or quieter. it all comes down to what you like

  • That aint nothing any more bud theres a new one at 200 YARDS!!!! and the guy was shooting a Mathews Monster 27.5 inch draw at 70 pounds and easton epic 500 arrows in the wind!!!! MATHEWS ALL THE WAY!!

  • @MathewsSolocamHunter Im Glad that three years later a mathews can do what he is doing with the first gen X force. Now how does that mathews stack up to the fourth gex X force

  • @kameronkeller69ford actually PSE has copied alot of the Mathews cams as you can see in acouple of the Mathews videos and the new MATHEWS M5 has more FPS than your little 4th gen X force you need to research more bows pal! no offience

  • @MathewsSolocamHunter.....you do realize saying no offense after saying something offensive doesnt make it any better.

  • @kameronkeller69ford MathewsSolocamHunter is kind of right Mathews is an inavative brand parallel limbs, singlecam, and rollergaurds to name a few things the Mathews name patented. But your both wrong to argue because any compound in the right shooters hands could make that shot. Also i've hunted with mathews and shot PSE's but Darton is my choice haha.

  • are u using a string sight...if u are that is still great shooting!!!

  • yup thats PSE !!!! payin for performance not the name .......

  • thats hard to believe..u can hear the wind,at that distance ur arrows would be blown over atleast 6 ft. with regular plastic vanes...were you using fob`s?

  • @fishnkid1923 agreed, this video looks as if it could have been easily fabricated. Not saying you weren't consistently hitting that target.. but it would have been as easy as having someone sitting behind the target and when given the command would tap the target.

  • you need some lumenoks and shoot at night

  • Now you don't see that everyday. was woundering how the grouping would be. Not bad!

  • Awesome! What was the fps on that bow just out of curiosity.

  • that was the most quiet bow I have ever heard... so its a mathews??

  • @MrCooterbruzer its a PSE

  • Great shooting. Wow..... and 84lbs is strong. If you use both your arms to load the bow, you will save strength. I learned it from a japanese archer. If you just keep your left arm extended, you have to draw the bow with you right arm. If you use both arms, you have more power and muscle to work with....

  • @hfranke07 Haha, back in the days when all they had were bows and spears the average pull wieght for a man was about 120 pounds, and about 60 for a 12-25yr old bow.

  • did that wind move the arrows much?that is some good shooting.how much pinatration?

  • öööööööö??? lol

  • ive hit a small pig target at about 100 yards with my martin saber at 50 pounds, haha i didnt even try at that range before. a guy who was shingling our roof bet me a case of beer i couldnt hit it from where i was standing lol. i still havent seen a drop of that beer =(

  • @raksah HAHA right on bro " or with my truck "

  • Excerllent vid - probably one of my fav archery vids online. Phenomenal.

    Pete

  • mathews all the way

  • How do you set it upto 84 pounds?

  • lol try doing this with a wooden bow not with one that has the lil aiming sight junk. see how well you hit that then!

  • very cool nice bow to

  • Launching at 185 and nailing them on such a small target????

    Wow!

  • Thats great shooting even at half the distance. I doubt I could even draw that bow. Much less hit anything ( except the ground ) with it at that range.

  • thats a long way for a bow. its fun to shoot that far but it takes the fun outta bow hunting if ur shooting that far. keep it under forty and have sum fun

  • It takes approximately 2 seconds for the arrow to travel the 185yds giving the arrow an approx. speed of 280 fps.

    Just in case you're wondering ; )

  • im pretty sure i can do this with a bowtech...

  • @matt820b Ya bowtech is better than PSE

  • @matt820b except an Xforce can get there faster...

  • I bow to you Master, of long range

  • I have a replica of a Medieval German crossbow. Very powerful and I use a modified boat trailer winch to cock it. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to use it for long range target shooting and to hear the 'twang' of the steel rope bow string. I've painted the bolts a bright reflective orange otherwise I can't see them in flight. I wouldn't consider using this weapon for hunting although it certainly could take down something the size of an elk.

  • @zeekwolfe Really? Wouldnt a .308 be much better?

  • @skunkapotamus A .308. or a 7.62mm or even a 30.06 would be far better in taking down large game. A crossbow, even a large and powerful one is still severely limited in range and shock power. You recall that there is a species of European bison, similar to the bison of the great plains. Up close and personal with a little help from servants a German crossbow (eine Armbrust) can take down one of these animals. You don't want to be in front of a pissed off bison that's only wounded, though.

  • @zeekwolfe Usually with a bow you go for the wound bleeding out instead of shock power. Many hunters us bows specifically because it keeps the meat from bruising

  • great shots, man 31" draw and 84 pound pull, you must be one big dude lol

  • ur a legend thats awesome

  • wow you dont miss a shot.. sniperarcher right there

  • Indians dont shot that far. Know anthing about seminole? BITCH.

  • FPS? crazy, I have heard of deer being taken at 175 yards. Thats nuts

  • ha, maybe theres a person with a crossbow next to them, and hes the one that actually shoots it

  • wow your pretty good

  • I got my first doe at 120 yards ...

  • dude badass i want to learn how to bow hunt and you are the jedi master nice

  • Gratulacje !!! Niesamowite strzały !!! Chciałbym tak strzelać, jak ten gość.

  • that was fucking awesome even the fucking dog was breathing heavy because it was so fucking awesome!

  • Awesome!

  • Even if there's a lot of skill involved in this type of archery... I just can't manage to be impressed by anyone shooting one of these high tech bows at -any- sort of range using aiming pins and fall away locks... Its just not 'archery' to me any more than winding up a crossbow and taking a shot is 'archery'.

That said, there's a video around of someone hitting a soy bean on a string from something like 30y, that I'll call impressive simply because the target is so ridiculously tiny.

  • Awesome shooting

  • i mean , that bow is 87 lbs draw weight , not your regular whitetail compound ...that stands at let me guess 70 lbs .. thats wht i use and i can only shoot accuratly at 70 yrds ... cus i aint got no more room hehe , i get maybe 3 inch groups at that distance , all you have to do is aim small to hit small , and also have some good pins in your sight and of course good stands , and all that good stuff that makes you shoot good .

  • @tuttoz Show me a video of you shooting a 3" group at 70 yards with 5 arrows. You should be shooting FITA if you can actually do that.

  • i have one in another account that is me shooting at 20, 35, 50 ,70. i think the name of it is MEXICO ARMADO. ... i didnt shoot five arrows i shot one per target . but still i get really good groups at 70 yards , its not bs ... 70 really isnt hard. and FITA shoots 70 meters not yards.... 70 meters is hard ...

  • Excellent!

Crap.....barely can handle my 47# Vegas Bow?

    SBS

  • What's actually the farthest shooting range of such a target aiming archer? I mean... what are the arching sights limits? I'm not sure but the SureLock MAX sights are advertised as the ones with maximum yardage capability. Does anyone know what restrictions do they or any other impose ? There must be a high-end of the range spectrum. I'm very curious but unable to find it anywhere.

  • i hunt in the woods and fields...but me bow is on 75 because we have some big pig here...in some of the fields ill shot 75yds.

  • From that distance it takes hours of practice even with that high tech bow, trust me. That takes true dedication to practice and learning to really focus on everything your body does.

    If I saw correctly, that was 189 yards x 3 = 567 feet.

Incredible no matter what the bow is.

  • Comment removed

  • how many fps with that set up? and what arrows?

  • Legolas

  • Every year, guys are pushing the envelope of archery range further and further. Hunting should be about woodsmanship and skill.. Being able to get within 20-30yards of an animal undetected. That is the range that a mountain lion needs to get a deer. You then become part of that animals life cycle. Not flinging arrows or bullets from hundreds of yards away!

  • @johnnywalker2222 wat if some one needed food and they couldnt stalk anything and are you some werd son bitch who thinks we are at the same as animals cause if you think that ur a dumb shit animals are nothing but food

  • @4xmurphx4 What?? I'm talking about the fact that every year, the hunting industry pushes the envelope of archery equipment and high tech gadgetry, and that ultimately lowers the skill level needed to be successful. There is a huge difference between consistently getting 70-100 yards to a deer or elk, and getting within 25 yards of that same animal.

  • that's weird, because i had sex at 185yds!

  • @BluBreathProductions lol what?

  • dang man thats crazy

  • i pul 70 like its nothin but then again im 6'8 280.............need to find me a bow with draw weight like his

  • Comment removed

  • then you dont know a whole hell of alot! :/ jk

  • @parseifacation

    You can't.

But you can shoot an arrow that far. :D

  • Looks like fun.

  • 84 is not that bad.....im like 5ft 8in and i way like 130 and my bow is 75 p

  • lol whats the point do you hunt in the woods or in feilds? really all you need is 50 to 60 pounds when i was 9 i shot my first deer with 35 pounds and killed it

  • Its a PSE x-force.......

  • he is pullin 84 pounds thats quite a bit and you cant see how his pins are set

  • execept you would see them

  • pretty nice shooting...its hard to hit a target at 100 yard

  • @JakeKasey10 depends on how big of a target youre shooting at :) is it an elephant or a rabbit, choose da' words :)

  • what bow?

  • i think so recurve bow

  • ???? its a compound bow. and i meant brand.

  • PSE X-Force...

  • 0:45 dog panting?

  • Yep. My Abbie - a cool german shepherd - pants just the same, she gets excited when I shoot and wants to chase arrows, that`s why I must keep an eye on her all the time. I love dogs.

  • Comment removed

  • wow a compound lol pus bow do that with a recurve or a long bow and impress ur viewers

  • @extremefighter4 You re a retard

  • very impressive shooting!

  • ........GREKEL you have have no uploads, been on utube for 3 years, and favorited probably the gayest video ive ever seen, you have no room to talk.....

  • @hdymer

    Youtube elitism... you sadden me.

  • @dummydj what?? your in the same boat as grekel....dummy

  • @hdymer

You don't understand what elitism is do you...? I lol at your pathetic attempt at an insult and then rofl at how much effort you put into insulting grekel. He might be a complete dumbass but you're an elitist snob and are ignorant to the fact and that....that just saddens me. Now, go troll somewhere else internet tough guy...

  • @dummydj you lol and rofl at me! HA your fucking gay....yes i know what elitism is.....i was just refering to how you talk like you know me,,you dont... so GFY know that one??

  • @Grekel1000 Oh my god man you probably couldn't even hit the broadside of a barn with a 40 pound bow non the less hit a target at 185 yards with 84 lb draw weight. That takes major skill.

  • have ya tried out the new Omen lazzy?

  • How in the world do you fit all those pins on your sight?????

  • @hdymer How long did it take you to come up with that?

  • however long your mom was at my house..

  • @hdymer Oh yay, I get to listen to ass holes bag on my mother now. It's not like i haven't heard any of this shit before.

  • what arrows are you shooting

  • great shots, what letoff are you using?

  • HAHAHA

    love the username

  • Everyone is a master of something.... This is yours. NICE.

  • beastly shot

  • WHAT?! No way ! I can barely shoot from 50 yards with my bow

  • thats sick

  • Not everyone who likes archery is using it as a potential weapon. I like the artistry involved in shooting, the feel of letting an arrow fly, the skill involved (much higher than pointing a gun), the Zen-like approach, etc. If I want to kill someone I'll do it with my bare hands... or my truck. :-0

  • There is a lot of skill in shooting as well, it's just different skills.

  • @ Raksaht - the skill involved versus a gun is relative to distance :) I'd like to see you pick u a rifle and hit a target at 800+ yards.

  • any person who wants to join the marines must shoot an m16 (civilians can pick up an AR-15) out to 500 yards with standard iron sights...800 yards is the new 200 yards with the optics that are out there. and you can shoot a rifle in the prone too, the bow has to be shot in the kneeling or standing...hitting a target with a rifle is noticebly easier at comparable distances.

  • @Raksaht haha or my truck i like that haha

  • @Raksaht Dont be belittling us rifle shooters :) i agree for short range it takes more skill then a rifle, but when you get out to 600, 1000, and 1000+yards, its a challenge. And about the zen like approach.... watch me shoot a long range shot, i go through a 30 second long process of calming myself, building up my breathing, and finally pulling the trigger. and then you have the tracers, and thats a whole nother story... :) nothing better then watching a green tracer fly 1000 yards.

  • dang you got some good eyes

  • fuck yeah he does
