All forms of energy production are subject to outages, when power generation halts, often very quickly with little or no warning. The only way that our power grids maintain there reliability is by integration of multiple power plants over large geographical areas. That is something that can be done even with a large percentage of renewable power generation in the energy mix.

Just like warming is the observation and the most likely explanation for it based on the evidence so far is AGW. (Universal Gravity is a theory, not a fact, regarding the natural law of attraction, Gravity theory totally fails to explain why Saturn has rings and Jupiter does not).

@duck24x Oh so you want numbers? Lucky for you, Ive got them right here. 157 billion metric tonnes of co2 released into the atmosphere each year. Of that 157 billion, 457.2 million is human made. Putting this into perspective: if we sudenly stopped our c02 output, it would reduce co2 being put in the atmosphere by one half of one half of one percent. Man made global warming is bullshit, deal with it!

Even if humans never existed, it is quite likely that average global temps will go up 20 C and go down 20 C from present temps - BUT OVER A MILLION YEARS. Clearly, you are not mentally capable of comprehending the magnitudes of things: i.e. the short time period (100 years) that humans will alter temperatures significantly.

Significantly more papers (42 in total) predicted global warming (Peterson 2008). 2) Climate reacts to whatever forces it to change at the time; humans are now the most likely dominant forcing.

All forms of energy production are subject to outages, when power generation halts, often very quickly with little or no warning. The only way that our power grids maintain there reliability is by integration of multiple power plants over large geographical areas. That is something that can be done even with a large percentage of renewable power generation in the energy mix.

@david222444 No, Look up the PMOD data at the world radiation centre or SORCE satellite plots and you will find that sun does not explain 2005 or 2010 which were both exceptionally warm years. Meehl (2004) Over the past century, any increase in TSI is responsible for just 15-20% of global warming.

Just like warming is the observation and the most likely explanation for it based on the evidence so far is AGW. Apparently people today are mistaken. Global warming isnt even real. The truth is that when the sun forms sunspots these sunspots slowly heat up the Earth, and when they go away Earth gets cooler. If it were caused by Co2 then how did the tempurature go down during the post ww2 economic boom, when industry was growing at a rapid rate and we were using an unbelievable amount of fossil fuels? There is no need to be worried at all,It is just a cycle Earth goes through.

The real problem is not that the oceans will rise but that the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere will rise, not only at ground level, but higher, in the upper layers of the atmosphere. This will cause catastrophic localized rain anywhere, anytime... So the earth will not end because of this, but it will change. Some species may become extinct, while new species will emerge to occupy their place... What will happen with the human species? and with the present civilization?

A nice, if naive video. People aren't going to change. We will exploit all resources until they are all gone, then we go also. You should change to compact fluorescents to save money, and bike because it's pleasant. It will not prevent the environmental disaster around the corner. Theyre not all caused by humans. Species have gone extinct because of these climate changes, take the dinosaurs for example. @duck24x Oh so you want numbers? Lucky for you, Ive got them right here. 157 billion metric tonnes of co2 released into the atmosphere each year. Of that 157 billion, 457.2 million is human made. Putting this into perspective: if we sudenly stopped our c02 output, it would reduce co2 being put in the atmosphere by one half of one half of one percent. Man made global warming is bullshit, deal with it!

In the case of humans' CO2 & methane, it's not just a feather, but another hundred pound weight that undoes the balance, far exceeding the random noise from random feathers that drop on the see-saw from time to time.

Even if humans never existed, it is quite likely that average global temps will go up 20 C and go down 20 C from present temps - BUT OVER A MILLION YEARS. Clearly, you are not mentally capable of comprehending the magnitudes of things: i.e. the short time period (100 years) that humans will alter temperatures significantly.
