Brilliant movie, brilliant book. Unlike the "neverending story" movie, which was pure bullshit. Michael Ende is on the top of best children's writers of all times list.

This was the very first film I have ever seen in a movie theater when I was a child. I saw it in Italy with my class mates. Now that I live in the U.S. I'm sure that no one here has seen this film. And it's just never been released on video here either. I'm gonna try to track down a foreign version of the DVD. Maybe in Italian or something.

Ja, das stimmt. Als Kind bekam sie in diesem Film immer nur vorgeplappert, was sie sagen musste und wusste selber wahrscheinlich gar nicht immer so genau, was sie wirklich sagte. Trotzdem spielt sie dafür die Rolle erstaunlich gut.

Das war ein Pflichtlesen, als ich zehnjähriger und vorherig war, kam dieses Buch zu mir am Abend vor, ich verdiente das Buch durch ein Wort, und ich war über die Tatsache sehr neugierig, dass er eine Schirm-Version hat. Ich weiß es jetzt, Sie würden nicht im Stande sein, den ganzen Film mit einem Wort auf Englisch aufzustellen, weil ich unvollständig, nur meine alten Verwandten sie und nur 60 % deutsch bin, spreche ich auf Deutsch, Sie stellen es dann auf Englisch mit einem Wort auf?:)

i ordered the movie online but if your in america its best to use pay pal, american currency has to be converted to pounds, also its a region 2 dvd, u would need a multi-region dvd plyer, and its not in english, i remember reading the book when i was in junior high, it did make it easy to watch the movie even though its not in english.

Oh my goodness! I've been searching and searching for the Momo movie ever since I read the book several years ago. Michaele Ende is on of my all-time favorite authors! You could postpone watching the movie, and read the book first (as far as I remember it's been translated into approximately 20 languages) - that way the lack of subtitles wouldn't matter that much anymore. :o))

I just did a search on Google, and Momo seem to be available for download along with English subtitles. Highly illegal of course (or is it not in Belgium?), but still thought I'd mention it. ;o)
