Sims 3 How to get more than 8 sims

@justfiresomething you can create as many families as you want in the sims 3 for PC actually. You just cant play with them all but you can move them into house lots and things like that. I made all my custom sims have a little mini neighborhood

this is not sims 3 because on sims 3 the limit is 6!!!!!!!

I know that right-clicking doesn't work anymore. BUT now you can shift-click and it does the same thing :)

This doesn't work anymore so don't blame anyone! There IS one way to get more than 8 sims but you'll need World Adventures. If you create a household and put them in another contry, then create a family at home and send a sim on holidy to the place where the other household is. Then you should be able to use testingcheats to add more sims. If it doesn't work, try sending 2 sims at a time to the contry and sending 1 home before being able to add another sim. Thats a really good video, but there is also another way! If both parents live in the house and they have 6 kids but you want more, you basically just make some of the kids at least "Young Adults" and make them move out. Keep having kids, and making more move out. You an do this until the parents are elders. To get a huge family tree do that with one of the sims that have moved out, and make them have more kids and more kids and do that with THEIR kids and just keep on doing that until yourhappy

Hey guys just an idea I'm gonna try. Since I've had all the updates I would suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling sims 3 and any expansion pack you have. Obviously if you have a lot of families already made this isn't ideal. But this is what I'm going to try.

See I had a family of six, and it wouldnt allow me to have kids or adopt. So I moved my sister and her fiance out. I had my older sister adopt a kid with her fiance and my fiance and I adopted a kid. Now I go on the map, and the house I moved the other two in, it says no one lives there. I need help ASAP!!

This cheat is already proven to not work after the limit. You can only do it until 8. After that the option is gone.

this is defunct, EA created in one of their patch updates a fix to this glitch, so it doesn't work anymore, you now have to mod ur game

Once you have eight or more they won't let you have kids... take them to a different lot and then you can make them have kids and then you could always move them back.

actually the little green diamond above the active sims head is actually called a plum bob. I found out cuz in sims 2 i used a cheat to pick up the plum bob of the sims head and place it somewhere else. and when i picked it up is said "sell plum bob?" so thats how i know. funnu isnt it lol
