We all exhibit Narcissistic traits in one form or another. It is only a problem if it goes to the extreme and this is rare and not as prevalent as one would think.
I have been told that I'm a narcissist by quite a few people, most of what you described explains me but to be honest, I'm not a narcissist I'm just very truthful about my looks and skills, which are great by the way.

I went with a friend on vacation and I just saw her changing from a nice person to a totally bitch who wants control over everyone and talking bad about others to feel satisfied. Ok so I'm out shopping with two friends and my 6 y/o dghtr and we part ways briefly to save time. They take my dghtr with them to give me a break from yet another 6 y/o (I can't have my way) tantrum. My friends are approached by my Narcisstic stepmother. She attempts to physically take my child and my friends stop her. I f she had been successful in kidnapping my child, I would've had to go thru a lot to get her back. This is not the first time this miserable 83 y/o woman has done this.
I was diagnosed and I think it is as individual as the person. Pick your baseline and label it but don't think everyone is going to fit neatly into that box. People don't think I am evil especially my three kids who I love dearly. I am not Godless in fact it's my faith that has taught me to consider the reality of what I am about to do instead of rationalizing my behaviors. Does that mean I always do what is right and do I always consider how what I do can affect them? No. Doesn't make me evil.

Dude, I used to be friends with someone afflicted with this disorder. I didn't know what to pinpoint her deal as, until I started researching this for a group project. She has every single one of these symptoms. It's crazy, for lack of a better term.

Dude, I used to be friends with someone afflicted with this disorder. I didn't know what to pinpoint her deal as, until I started researching this for a group project. She has every single one of these symptoms. It's crazy, for lack of a better term.
It's sad because you can't make them go get help. They have to do it on their own, and most of the time, it never happens. So you gotta sit on the sidelines and watch as they destroy their own lives. Very disheartening indeed.

"Caring" is a minor issue of the total NPD thing. The guy in question in this video doesn't talk to ANYBODY with ANY intent whatsoever other than to puff up his ego. I didn't get it at first, but when I analyzed the way he communicated with people, he was CLEARLY NPD and was CLEARLY just yanking people around to make himself feel superior. THAT is what NPD is (which BTW is different than just being narcissistic). After reading your YT description, I'm not really sure what your deal is. WTF?

My boyfriend has NPD. I care a lot for him, but reading this I nodded to each of the points.
He isn't romantic and didn't bother giving me a birthday present.
The other day in KFC he told me he came up with the concept for Lost, when he was a child and someone took the idea from him. He proceeded to tell me he came up with the idea that terrorist will attack major buildings and it came true.
