Are toys this cool anymore? Are kids even encouraged to imagine/create their own story lines? Last time I was in the toy isle, aside from the booku amount of Star Wars figures, I saw a ton of pseudo Japanese anime styled toys with little to no accessories or heart. In my opinion, the American toy industry has been on life support since the year 2000.

@foch41 As I have eight original cels from that series, it does make you appreciate its era; you won't find any cels for the 2K3 version even as that was computer enhanced. We just have to get with the times; if you don't like it, watch an earlier series.

I remembered the toys, and I also remembered being disappointed in the Shredder figure, because... well, the Shredder in the cartoon wore a shirt and his head looked nothing like that.

Anyways, when it comes to the ooze stuff, you always had to watch out. You could use ooze with your toys a number of times if I am correct, but once it goes downhill you don't wanna play with it again. lol

Haha, plus it got stuck everywhere and stained things. :P I remember the most annoying thing was trying to get the crud out of the little plastic container... well first getting the container open and then getting the ooze gunk out of the plastic can. Its kinda like oh great, now he's a mess... what do I do now? Haha! Change! Do something! Don't just sit there like a lump, you pos toy. j/k :D It'd have been cooler were the toys to change color when you oozed them. Or if ooze glowed in the dark!

I had this one. Sadly, it was a piece of junk. It would always fall apart while playing with it (that pipe at the end was the worst).

The technodrome was the best of the playsets. Followed by the Party Van / News Channel Van.

Wish they'd bring some of these back, along with the figures they are re-releasing. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I remember making my own which was way cooler, id take old pringles cylinders and paint them as pipes and connect them to moving boxes i turned into sewer rooms, it was quite elaborate and more creative than the real play set!
