The original version "Ratha Kanneer" in Tamil which was shot 50 years back was the best !! Actor M R Radha's performance and his dialogues were subtle, matured and even the voice modulation was brillaint with the right accent.

This one is far behind comparison.

For Kannada movies this is Good.. but it cant even be considered on par with the Tamil original !!

Original source is from Tamil, film name "Ratha Kanneer". its not a copy of any malayalam movie. "Ratha Kanneer" was from M.R.Radha, who hosted it as a stage drama throughout TamilNadu for more than 1000 times. And finally when it was made as a film, he acted in it and it was a blockbuster on those days. M.R.Radha was extremely courageous to do such a character and speak agitating dialogues those days, not just in movies but also on stages. He is one Real Man.

Check the original by the great M.R Radha. A big mistake to remake this movie and also attempt to use the same style and accent MRR used in Tamil. Uppi has done his best but is light years away from the classic.

" doesnt matter if its copied" ..... and i dont take any glea in saying that....bolly copies tolly then kolly .... llist goes on .... which is y i precisely made the point!
