it needed to be that big because of the way the clown fits in the box. I think the clown actually needs to be bigger and taller but i could figure out how.

oh by the way, im frightened of clowns and jack in the boxes in general, so im betting this was scarier for me than it might be for some people. but i know lots of people who are afraid of clowns, so maybe not! haha
if i put a lid on it it becomes to heavy to lift. i am gonna use a plastic table cloth with a wire frame to make a big black square that lifts up with the clown. the clown starts looking down and then looks forward
