I absolutely love this video, great cover on everyone's part. I also like the improv solo the guitarist did.

I have a question though: For the vox: During the prechorus parts, do you just have a 3rd's harmony going on, or is there more than just 3rd's there? And how many harmonies do you have going for the choruses?

The reason I'm asking is because I've been thinking about doing this as a cover to, and the harmonies just make the song so much more rich in sound and energy

"Separate Ways" is a real vocal challenge. This is a very good cover, the singer's voice feels closer to Classic Heavy Metal, making for an effective variation on the original.

Arnel Pineda, even though he is talented, is nothing more than a "cover man" for Steve Perry, and the current Journey is nothing more than a cover band and they don't get it. "Yourvirtualjourney" IS a coverband, they KNOW it, and they are AMAZING for that. THEY are better than the wannabe group calling themselves "Journey" today.

Never got the appropriate recognition it deserved in OZ, got played on music vid shows, but not on local radio..hmmm..makes me crazy..

Journey were so unreal..YOU guys have done an excellent cover of this..and yeah if Steve Perry sees this I reckon he'd be proud too and recognise just how AMAZING his talent wa & is along with the band.

Great music and sound The singer you have is out outstanding and does have a voice. But can hear his accent while singing. This song is of soft ballad and not rock. He should focus his talent like songs from Van Halen, Ratt, etc. Having his own style for music is one thing, but never let it undermine the true mean of the song. Music captures peoples emotions, let them have that same emotion even though he is not Steve Perry. It can be done. Sing it next time with finesse and see if this is 4 U.

My answer to this is Journey was great; Steve Perry-not my favorite singer. I like the edginess and tonal quality of this singer better. Steve Perry was a high tenor--not my favorite sound.
